Special accommodation for 4 people in the center of Amsterdam, very suitable for families. In the middle of the green 'Plantage' area, which used to be a Jewish quarter. Nearby where everything happens (15-20 minutes on foot), but in a calm and friendly environment. Ideal place for families who want to explore Amsterdam. The famous Artis zoo is around the corner. Lots of museums, pubs and restaurants really close by.
We expect you to respect the attention and care we have given to the apartment. We have done our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible and have refurbished everything.
We expect you to leave the apartment in the state as you found it.
You may not smoke in the apartment and not in front of the front door. If you smoke, we kindly ask you to smoke across the street - combine with a walk through the park?

Great location central to a lot of sights we wanted to see. The kids like their long room, beds and air conditioning. We found the main bed to be a little awkward and not as comfortable. Hosts had good information about what's around the area. We had a few issues with the apartment, Erik-Jan made it right.

great getaway

the location was perfect for our family of four (older kids 17 and 20), it was clean and quiet, but easy to get to all the must-sees in Amsterdam. We enjoyed the location near to the parks and garden. The hosts communicated clearly with a lot of helpful information about our stay.

Amazing Amsterdam Accomodations

Outstanding location, excellent amenities, cool and comfortable! Our positive impression began well before the trip, with our hosts being the most organized and helpful we have ever had. They sent detailed information about everything from arrival transportation to cafes, restaurants, markets, and local attractions, which made our stay so very simple. Upon our arrival we were treated to thoughtful, delicious cookies and wine. In addition, the hosts provided coffee pods which were excellent! The apartment comfortably slept my two teenage boys in their own room and my husband and I in another. The beds were medium-firm. It was wonderful to have laundry and laundry soap, and air conditioning in each room. The location was unbeatable and made for easy access to so many museums, parks, and activities in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Sehr ruhig gelegene Wohnung von der man innerhalb von 30 Minuten bequem zu Fuß die wichtigsten Punkte erreichen kann.Sehr gut waren die Hinweise des Vermieters, was das Parken, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants betrifft. Ich würde die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Fantastic apartment in a lovely area

We really enjoyed a family stay in this apartment. It is in a vibrant yet relaxed area, with some lovely bars and cafes a stones throw away, as well as the botanical gardens. Hosts were very helpful, with good communication and the apartment was spotless and comfortable.

Nice spot and great location

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It was in a nice area around a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It was also closely situated to the Zoo and the University in a neighborhood of locals. This gave it a nice mix of energy while we were walking around. We could easily walk to Centraal Station, Rembrandt Square, and all of the major museums. There is a light rail stop one block away, which we also appreciated.

Ideally located accommodation. Very good advice given by Erik-Jan about the facilities in the neighbourhood (breakfast, lunch, etc.) and about what there is to see in Amsterdam. Thank you for all your kindness.Only comment, the flat is getting old and needs some renovation.

Amsterdam Weekend - Sept 2024

Property in an amazing safe location - walkable to the centre (15/20 mins) or can get a tram which is 1 minute walk away. Lovely bar on the corner for pre drinks with v friendly staff. Host very helpful a week before we arrived answering all my questions and also during our stay. We only stayed 2 nights so the apartment ticked all our boxes as we didn’t spend a lot of time there.The only negative thing about the property is the ceiling lights didn’t seem to work so was quite dark and would have benefited to have mirrors in both bedrooms.

The accommodations were great. The owner was super responsive and friendly. The location was right where you want to be - rent a bike and you are close to everything without being caught in the traffic. Great little park across the street and pub at the corner.

Excellent and quiet location

Residential / university area with lots of charm. Cute pub on the corner where we ate a few meals. Location is in between two tram stops which makes it super spot to get around to all of the sites. 2 bedrooms (one in living room) but very comfy. Nice bathroom with shower. Loved having laundry in case we needed to do a quick wash (messy teens). Overall a very nice spot that made you feel Like a local vs a tourist. Thank you for your hospitality 🇳🇱

Best location to stay in Amsterdam

If you want to stay closer to all the Amsterdam city centre neighborhoods, this place is the best. Tram station is close by for travel around all day with major stations within 10 mins of ride. This apt had everything our family required and the grocery store was also walking distance. The owners were very prompt in replying to all our messages. Don’t forget to try their cookies…. We loved them.

Great for our family

Apartment is clean, roomy, and has a washer dryer which was helpful. Not a full kitchen but fridge and toaster oven were helpful to not have to eat every meal out. Two rooms gave us and our teens some privacy and it was centrally located to explore the city. Hosts were friendly and helpful. This was a great base for our Amsterdam stay!

The area is quiet, clean, safe and easy to get to Dam Square or Central station about 20 minutes. The host kept contact to ensure all is well and if any assistance was required. The apartment was in a ideal location and everything we needed for a short break away.
