”This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended.”

”The taxi and Uber pick up are out front and that was convenient. Upper floor was warm. Stay on lower floors. But fancy and regal and old fashioned. You can walk out the back door to the train station literally. Way Handy!”

”Matfen Hall really is outstanding, my stay was faultless. All staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful- I was greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and my bags were taken up to my room whilst I checked in and relaxed in the Great Hall. Every nook and cranny of this hotel is gorgeous, beautifully crafted and fabulously furnished, including the room I was allocated.
