”Brand new hostel in Playa del Carmen (and the best location in town). Everything is clean and comfortable, and it’s nice to have a rooftop pool and co-working space. All the staff members are super friendly and helpful. You don’t have to be a young backpacker to stay here, the vibe is calm & relaxed, not a party hostel. I ended up extending my stay many times, thank you! ”

”Great option if you’re staying in the Zazil-Ha location of PDC. I loved my stay here. Person at the front desk 24/7. Rooftop pool and ocean view is tomorrow. I used the gym most days that I was here and loved that I was able to keep up with my workouts. Room has a nice little kitchen; I used the blender provided to make smoothies and juices in the am. ”Great clean and comfortable and safe new flat. Walking distance to Quinta Ave and grocery stores. Great pool area. There is some noise from the night club until 3 am, but I did not mind. Also construction across the street, so it is not nice to use the balcony. Nevertheless, very nice stay for a great price.”

”We reserved a bungalow and ended up requesting a room change due to rodant droppings on our bed after our first night. Once we were transferred to another room the hot water was not functioning and had to wait until the morning for maintenance to replace. The pool and the jacuzzi were not clean and we choose not to get in. We stayed a total of 8 days and 7 nights and did enjoy a cool room because the a/c functioned excellent. ”I didn't know this property automatically charges my card the day of so my bank saw it as a fraud alert and I also didn't recognize it as a expedia purchase because is appeared as sands boutique and not expedia. I cancled my card for no reason. One of the two pools were closed the entire.”

”The first room was horrible. The only windows faced the reception area, so there was no natural light at all. The guy at the reception was also an idiot—he constantly gave us false information about the Wi-Fi, parking, and the possibility of getting another room with natural light, yet somehow everything was our fault. However, the lady at the reception was very helpful. Be careful when booking a room—two-bedroom rooms have no windows to the outside at all. The new room we got was good.”

”Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep...

”Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip.”

”The experience was amazing and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was we booked the king size bed suite and when we got there we were given the double bed suite instead . We paid for the king size bed room but we got a cheaper room instead so we lost money . Also the small room didn’t have a microwave and that’s one of the main reasons we got the king room . But after 2 days the staff were able to get a microwave in the smaller room . Overall great place to stay except for that one...
