A very good and central location. Check-in was easy and the digital key was very useful as there were 5 of us who would come and go whenever. The pictures were accurate.

Cute place with restaurants nearby. Really good communication. Quiet neighbourhood. Even had an elevator to make bringing suitcases up easy. Very spacious for the three of us. Would definitely stay again.

Room appliances, aesthetics, and cleanliness matched the images we were presented with when reviewing the flat online. Great location and suitable flat for a short-term trip. Our largest criticism was poor communication on the owner's behalf during our stay regarding a requirement for extra sheets and towels that we were missing, along with a lack of hand soap to accommodate 5 people showering. We reached out on multiple occasions and even called to put a request in, but we never received this support. Overall, solid experience, but if you're someone who needs communication for any missing materials during your stay, look elsewhere

We were very close to the Gothic area so near lots of shops and restaurants, but the area was relatively quiet where the apartment was.We didn't stay in the originally booked apartment as the lift was broken and one of the guests is disabled and could not climb eight flights of stairs, let alone with luggage. However, the management were really quick to respond and found us alternative accommodation in less than an hour.

Great location and functional

This property could be top notch with a little TLC; for example, a fresh coat of paint throughout the apartment, and more towels and blankets for guests. The apartment had plenty of room and the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. The location is spectacular. Safe neighborhood, friendly neighbors, lots of restaurants in walking distance and close to metro stops. We would definitely stay there again.

Easy and Comfortable

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Quieter area than the Gothic or Las Ramblas areas, but still so many restaurants and bars close by. Walked everywhere! Apartment could use some updating such as couches and decor, but the bathrooms were clean and modern. The electronic entry system was convenient so as not to have to keep track of physical keys. Unit considered on 4th floor, but it's actually 6 flights up. Incredibly small elevator but was so happy to have it at least for getting luggage up and down. Would stay again if we ever get back to Barcelona. Thank you to the host for allowing us to check in several hours early due to an early morning arrival.

Work weekend in Barcelona

The apartment is very well located, right next to the Arc de triomphe so very easy to get around. The owner is very responsive which is nice. We were missing a set of sheets which they brought immediately after l sent a message. The apartment itself however is not very "modern" as indicated. There's a hole in the ceiling in one of the bathrooms that isn't mentioned in the ad which started leaking. Also the faucet in the other bathroom leaks continuously. To be noted, there is AC in the master bedroom but not in the very small room that has 2 single beds. Basically the apartment needs a lot of maintenance but if you're ok with that it's in a great location. maintenance.bathroom leaks

This is a reasonable flat in a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and it's close to two metro stops. We stayed with a family of six—two grandparents, two kids, and two grandkids—and the apartment was suitable. There's a main bedroom with a queen size bed, a small bedroom with two single beds, and a fold out couch, plus two bathrooms. The flat looks out on the interior area of the apartment block, and was relatively quiet. It has a refrigerator/freezer, and the kitchen is stocked with cups, plates, and utensils. Things to beware of before booking this flat: - There's enough hot water for one person at a time to take a brief 4-5 minute shower. - Both showers leaked and there's swollen floorboards and peeled paint from water soaking into the wood. - The bedrooms do not have good air circulation, but there is an AC unit in the main bedroom. The flat had two pedestal fans in the closet, but one was broken. The other worked, but the upper half didn't secure to the base. Be careful picking it up. - We weren't supplied with enough towels, and the bedding for the fold-out couch had no covers and it was stained and yellowed. I had to go back-and-forth with the property before they would supply us towels and duvet cover/pillowcases. All things considered, it felt a bit overpriced, but not outrageously so, and I'd consider it a better value if there were enough hot water for 2-4 people to shower/wash their hair and I hadn't had to beg for linens.

Filthy, Rundown, Mold, & Leaky Ceiling

We stayed at this property 10/2-10/8 and we were appalled by the condition of the property. It's too bad we can't attach photos so travelers can see for themselves. The cleanliness was not due to a lack of housekeeping--it was neglected maintenance issues. WALLS: All of the walls were dirty--very dirty. Splatters of who-knows-what and dirty around light switch covers from gross unwashed hands. A fresh coat of paint in the entire apartment is desperately needed. Just yuk. BATHROOMS: The bathrooms both had mold. One day, water started pouring in from the ceiling and it was apparent that this has been happening quite a while-plaster is about to fall off the ceiling. The sink in the hallway bathroom drains at a snails pace so if you enjoy watching your spitty toothpaste slowly decend, quick claim the hallway bath as your own. BEDROOMS: The sheets and pillows were sad and worn (perhaps a relic from the Inquisition?). You might have better luck getting tossed in Spanish prison--I can only speculate. I guess I did get quite the exfoliation from the 100 grit sheets so my skin may have been a little glowier than normal. They should take advantage of the back sunroom area and put a vanity or mirror and/or extra bed. There is a chair back there that is so stained it needs to be burned. Find another apartment! This one is in need of major TLC. Email me for pictures: herdingelizabeth@gmail.com.
