We had a very enjoyable stay in this spacious apartment, largely thanks to its unbeatable location and bright, airy living space with a beautiful view of Passeig de Gràcia. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, and having two bathrooms was extremely convenient. Its central location puts you within walking distance of major attractions, the Gothic Quarter, and the subway, which also connects directly to the airport (T2).
A few issues affected our experience, though. The main door instructions incorrectly stated to turn the knob left instead of right. In the bedrooms, one curtain was falling, and a larger bedroom lightbulb wasn’t working. One night, the main bathroom shower’s hot water stopped. The dryer did not properly dry clothes, despite following instructions, which was disappointing since we booked this apartment for its washer and dryer. One cushion on the smaller sofa had a broken spring, and a large cactus decoration in the hallway was slightly in the way. It would also be helpful if the kitchen included a water pitcher and a stainless-steel water boiler.
Despite these minor problems, the apartment’s size, views, and prime location more than made up for them. It’s a great choice for anyone who values comfort, space, and easy access to Barcelona’s attractions. With a few maintenance updates, it would be outstanding.
