Hotel was under restruction
The house was under restructuring and it was not notified anywhere. No possibilities to sleep after 7.30am in weekdays. Further, voices from other rooms and corridors came very clearly to my room.

Positives: The location was very nice, lots of restaurants and cafe's nearby. Short distance to U-bahn station. Spaceous room. Negative: We reserved a room through Expedia, which was advertised with 4 individual beds. However, we got a room with two beds one wobbly bunk bed. Fully booked, so no possibility to change room. The personnel told that it would be needed to contact them directly to guarantee a "wish" for individual beds. One of us slept on the couch for one week. The breakfast was OK, but quite high price. With the same price we could find superb quality breakfast in the nearby cafe.

The room smelled like cigarettes and you could hear everything that was happening in the hallway and in the next room. No sound proofing whatsoever.

Rauhallinen hotelli hyvillä kulkuyhteyksillä
Rauhallinen hotelli lähellä lentokenttäbussin pysäkkiä ja metroasemaa. Rakennus on historiallisen vanha, mutta huone oli moderni. Aamupala oli runsas ja monipuolinen.

Disaster of customer service!!
Lovely interior decoration indeed but... 1. I arrived quite late &tired and the receptionist lady was very rude and kept me waiting over 30 min for my room. Also did not believe I had a reservation at all (and did not bother to chech it out) and therefore insisted me to give her my passport and credit card for a deposit. She did not put them on a closed envelope either. 2. Receptionist lady did not speak any English. 3. Shower was leaking in my room so I had troubles to get some sleep, even though I was very very tired. 4. There was a smell of mould in my room and as an allergic to mould, I got an asthma attack. 5. When arrived, the receptionist did not tell me about a dog fee so I had rather unpleasant surprise in the morning when an other receptionist made me pay for the dog. It would have been nice to hear when checking in. Also she insisted me to keep the dog in the cage during the visit. 6. The morning receptionist did not tell me that the breakfast was not included in the room price. When I told him, almost crying, how rude the evening receptionist was, he said the brekkie was on the house. 7. The morning receptionist was professional, polite and friendly. 8. Breakfast was one of the best ones I've had. 9. Breakfast servers were lovely!

Jos olisimme varanneet hotellin suoraan, olisimme säästäneet 30 euroa. Majoituksen hinta oli suunnilleen sama, mutta aamiaisesta olisimme maksaneet vain puolet. (Direct bookers profit from our extensive breakfast buffet which we offer at a special rate of € 5,oo per person per day.) Kylpyhuone oli pieni ja äänieristys olematon (käytävältä kuului puheet ja askeleet). Wi-Fi toimi erinomaisesti. Liikenneyhteydet olivat hyvä (15-20 min. Tegelin kentältä ja suunnilleen saman verran keskustaan. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. :) :)

Wer gepflegtes Ambiente liebt, etwas Nostalgie und guten Service ist hier richtig. Das Familien geführte Hotel hat ein Frühstückszimmer aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, absolut automatisch. Ein modernes, freundliches Antre, die Rezeption ist 24 Stunden geöffnet und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer gut geschnitten und praktisch eingerichtet. In der Nähe schöne Parks und viele kleine Straßencafés und Lokale. Gut und einfach mit Bus und Bahn zu erreichen.

Die Lage ist einmalig; super ÖNVP-Anbindung zur verlängerten Straßenbahn M10, aber auch zur U-Bahn sowie zur S-Bahn ab Bellevue. Nette Umgebung mit vielen Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel könnte etwas saniert werden - neue Teppiche würden nicht schaden. Im Zimmer hat aber alles funktioniert - bequemes Bett, guter Internetanschluss, ein kleiner Kühlschrank, und das Zimmer war sogar gut beleuchtet, was heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist. Ich hatte allerdings ein Superangebotspreis; für den vollen Preis gibt es u.U. bessere Alternativen. € 16,50 fürs Frühstück fand ich übertrieben, also habe ich verzichtet und mich beim Netto fast nebenan eingedeckt. Der Münz-Kaffeeautomat im 1. Stock ist eine gute Idee! An der Fassade des Hotels wird zwar weiter gebaut, sodass die Fenster sämtlich mit Folie abgedeckt bleiben. Ansonsten hat das den Aufenthalt nicht wesentlich getrübt, aber vielleicht hatte ich Glück, dass gerade nicht gebohrt wurde.

Du får hvad du betaler for.
Hotellet er nedslidt. Der lugter af blegemidler, nikotin og fugtskade. Hotellet gennemgår lige nu en ydre renovering, det gør at vinduer er tapet til med plastik udefra. Trappeopgangen er uden lys, og derfor mørklagt. De reklamerer for "Happy Hour" på cocktails i deres bar, men baren eksisterer ikke. Efter den oplevelse, havde vi ikke lyst til at prøve morgenmaden. Hvis de gør en indsats for at ændre ovenstående, tænker jeg at det kan være et fint nok hotel. Personalet er venligt og professionelt.

The staff were really helpful and smiley. While the hotel was rather hidden (hard to find when we first got there) and overall needs a refresher, the room we got was really big so it was comfortable for 3 - 4 person!

A beautiful hotel with an unfriendly receptionist
The location is very good. The building is old and beautiful. The room was nice and clean however we had no vue. The windows were covered. The first receptionist didn't speak a word of German. But he was very friendly though. The second receptionist spoke English but charged us for leaving our luggage in the reception! We were checking out and wanted to spend the day in Berlin. That was very unfriendly and greedy!

Eine schöne Unterkunft in einem Altbau. Die Betten waren recht neu, was mir sehr gefallen hatte. An den Wänden konnte man aber noch Abdrücke der alten Möbel gesehen. Mein Zimmer hatte ein Teppichboden. Ersteinmal neutral, könnte für einige aber relevant sein.

Staff were lovely and the location is up and coming, with some nice restaurants nearby. Hotel is in need of renovation, threadbare carpets and scuffed walls. Mattress was awful - way too soft and gave us both backache. Didn’t complain as we were not there too long.

Levede ikke op til billederne overhovedet. Det er meget slidt og trænger til en opdatering.. Ift parkering var der bøvl med maskine og vi brugte rigtig meget tid på at prøve at løse det.

Die bei Expedia gezeigten Zimmer/ Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität. Einen so dreckigen Teppichboden habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Unsere Kinder haben sich geekelt den Teppich mit Socken zu betreten. Das Mobiliar heruntergekommen. Gegen alt habe ich nichts aber gegen Verwahrlosung schon. Bad: Schimmel, von der Wand halb herunterhängende Handtuchhalter, Einfach nur schlimm. Das Baugerüst vor dem Hotel und die zugeklebten Fenster sind nirgends erwähnt. Aufzug mindestens 3 Tage defekt. Obwohl ich zuvor angerufen hatte und mir ein renoviertes Zimmer zugesagt wurde, kam man diesem Versprechen nicht nach. Der Rezeptionist wusste genau wovon ich redete und zuckte immerzu mit den Schultern. Wir kamen wohl zu spät an; da sich eine andere Familie über dasselbe Zimmer zuvor beschwert hatte und man denen "unser" reserviertes Zimmer gegeben hatte. Man könne nichts für uns tun. Frühstück hat man mir kostenlos angeboten aber esse ich in einer solchen Bleibe, deren Zimmer so vor Dreck strotzen? Nein, sicher nicht. Ein solches Zimmer hätte man nicht vermieten dürfen. Könnte eigentlich eine recht charmante Bleibe sein aber die Hotelfühung/ Eigentümer haben es nicht drauf. Ich würde sagen, ruft vorher an aber auch darauf wäre kein Verlass. Wir hatten uns so auf Berlin gefreut aber die Bleibe hat es vermasselt. Enttäuschend.
