there was no hot water and when we complaint we have to move smaller room but still not hot water.Housekeeping was low.rooms where dirty.No glasses only papercups and sometimes they forget to bring new ones.WE paid superior room and we get smaller room.managemant didnt do anything.we think that we been betrayed.hotel has 4 stars.we give 2 or 3.breakfast was good and reception

Value for money
I was a bit hesitant to book the hotel as the price (for August) was very low. But it turned out very well. So the hotel offers value for money. The location is excellent, just across the street from the railway station and the airport bus. Also, the historical area is fully within walking distance. I asked for a quiet room and it was very quiet. Also clean. Rather small room. A bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling water was offered as well as coffee and tea making facilities. For the price paid the hotel was above expectations. Breakfast was not included in my rate, but I opted for it (12eur) and it was okay, buffet style.

Good hotel if you are exploring Bologna and need to be close to the trainstation. Breakfast was good with fruits and cakes!

Three nights in Bologna
Location: next to the main Railway Station. Buffet breakfast: very good. Room: 7th floor, not matching any 4 star/Mercure requirements. Should be renovated and cleaned properly (dirty carpet, old-fashioned bathroom, small and dirty balcony etc.) Ordered a breakfast box due to early departure. Some biscuits and a water bottle were prepared and after "begging" the receptionist got also a sandwich.

Vanhahko hotelli jonka sisustusta ei ole vähään aikaan päivitetty. Sinänsä erityisesti kylpyhuoneen vanhat kaakelit hienoja, mutta esimerkiksi ilmastointilaite piti lähinnä meteliä - ilmaa ei juurikaan viilentänyt.

Nettes Personal und das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof/Bushof sodass man alles gut erreichen kann. Unser Zimmer war dem Preis angemessen, nicht renoviert wie die meisten aber sauber mit einem riesigen Bett und Blick auf den Garten. Das einzige was ich etwas schade fand, ist dass es abends oft auf der Terrasse der Bar sehr sehr lau war bis 2 Uhr und keiner etwas dagegen unternommen hat von den Angestellten. Wir würden das Hotel aber nochmals buchen

The only niggle I had was that the bathroom door handle came off in my hand. Other than that the facilities were good, the room was clean and it was perfectly close to the station and the bus station.

Very disappointing
Sort of a rundown that might be getting a facelift but it in our room. On the good side it is near the train station and the breakfast was expensive but very good. The internet was average and bed was large and fairly comfortable. On the negative side the bathroom is like from the 50s on Rte 66 could not even get into the shower. Tv did have a few English options but mostly just news, you can not control the a/c it was a tad warmer than I prefer. For the price is was not worth the money but does avoid a couple taxis if you have an overnight connection.

Non si comprende il motivo dei prezzi e delle 4 stelle. Una struttura fatiscente e tenuta in pessime condizioni. L'igiene è comunque precaria in un luogo dove il copiriwater ha almeno una decina di anni di età. La stanza assegnata era vecchia, tenuta malissimo e con una moquette ormai consunta e usurata.

Excellent location across the street from the train station. Felt like I was in a 70s time warp with the decor. Beds were comfortable and clean. Appears that renovation is in progress but no noise issues.
