Comfortable and silent room, excellent air conditioning keeping the room coole even when the temperatur outside was above 30 degrees celcius. Practical location.

Mixed feelings
The impressive price was due to some repair works going on near the room. To be fair, they only started around midday, though after watching France-Iceland in the fanzone I would've still wanted to sleep a bit more ;) My flight home was cancelled due to the French strikes, but fortunately it was possible to extend my stay for one day. However, I was only flying at 6am the next day. I stayed in the lounge for a short while, but then wasn't allowed to. I understand that, but I also wasn't allowed to keep my luggage there anymore "because I didn't have a room at the hotel", although the purpose of the luggage room is literally to keep your luggage between midday and your departure. It wasn't even 24 hours. The staff was fairly rude about it Also, the breakfast is really expensive if you pay for it separately, but it's really good, probably the best I've seen in France.

Normiketjuhotelli. Ei mitään erikoista. Keskusta tosin kävelymatkan päässä. Pysäköinti viereissä pysäköintitalossa, mutta hotellista saa pysäköintiin kupungin. Matka pysäköinnisät tosin hirveän mutkainen. Hotelli OK, jos ei hae mitään erikoista.

Not for families
This hotel is clean but more for business travelers, I think. You can walk easily to the centre of Bordeaux, but it's not that close. I would say 15-20 minutes walk from centre of the city. I would not recommend this hotel for families, but for business travelers ok. Parking is included in the price and that's a plus. Rooms are clean but very small, you feel like you are in a block house rather than hotel. Minibar was empty, except only one bottle of water...Drinks are exceptionally expensive in the lobby bar.

Weekend in Bordeaux
The hotel was very nice overall, it was clean and everything was as it should be. The only weird thing was having the toilet separately from the bathroom so you had to wash your hands in a different room. The staff was nice and helpful. The city center is within a walking distance but the tram and buss stops are even closer so moving around is not a problem. The take-away breakfast from the reception (order the day before) was nice as we had to leave early.

This is a nice hotel with a very nice breakfast and good value for many. It's within a few minutes walking distance from the main cathedral and the old centre. We were very satisfied

Yleinen siisteystaso
Hotelli oli puhdas ja siisti mutta kokolattiamatot nuhjuisia. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja palvelualtis. Neljänkymmenen vuoden matkakokemukseni mukaan keskitasoinen ranskalainen hotelli. Hinta hotellin tasoon nähden yläkantissa. Kokonaisuutena onnistunut matka. Kiitos ja Terveisin Christer Långstedt

Covers the basics
Having stayed in the Novotel several times, I can now say that I'm fairly familiar with it. Clean and quiet with the modernised rooms it covers all the basics, but there is no luxury or comfort to be found here. Also, the service, as the case so often is in France, leaves a lot of room for improvement.

Terrible bed/shower
The shower was terrible as the pressure was extremely low. The bed was really uncomfortable because they just placed two single beds together and the mattress were very low quality. The building was dated and you could tell they had done a light refurbishment. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby/reception were of a good standard. I would not recommend this hotel as I do not believe it represented good value for money. The location of the hotel is the only redeeming factor.

Gym is small and not suitable. No treadmill. No hair conditioner or body lotion and they are a 4 star allegedly. Area looks abandoned exceot for the Accor group of hotels. Short walk into town but hotel location is not great.

Very close to the center, nice and walkable options nearby. I feel that I saved money whilst staying here. It is not luxury, but it is convenient, clean and works.

The hotel was directly across from a Bastille Day celebration in which music and crowd noise were blasted till 4 AM directly across from hotel room. I extended my stay at this hotel beforehand not knowing this and no one bothered to tell me that this would be an issue. The staff did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make up for this. It was a pricey and overpriced place and not that nice for the price. I would strongly recommend anyone considering this hotel to go elsewhere!

The objectivity of your return only concerns an event "July 14", which is a national holiday like in any other country on another date. The carpet was a bit dirty and there were limited plug ins in the bathroom. The gym was limited and a bit messy when I went down to try it. The AC was not very effective. Shower could have used a bit more pressure and the temperature fluctuated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great.

I absolutely loved that they gave us water bottles (refillable) that we could exchange for full every day. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was nicely air conditioned. The staff was so great and helpful! we were able to get a late checkout! It was a good walk to find restaurants and cafes, but we love that!

Overall Good with Some Room for Improvement
The staff was very friendly and accommodating as we needed to store our luggage since our room was not yet ready. We also were able to store in after we checked-out, which was very helpful. Though the room was nice, when we entered someone had left liquor bottles and other trash in the entrance way so we needed to call for room service to take it away. I also noticed crumbs under a chair, so not the best cleaning for this room. The chamber maid who tended to us was clearly sorry and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, though the restaurant for dinner has a very limited menu. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of Hotel de Ville which makes it very convenient. Overall, a good, inexpensive place to stay in Bordeaux!

This hotel is set up for remote working in the lobby of this hotel. There are little cubicles and common workspace areas. It has a gym which is usually empty. The rooms are large however the a/c was not very performant. Location is great but with the roadwork being done by the parking lot, accessing parking was a bit confusing as the signs for « Parking 8 May 1945 » Disappear at the roundabout diversion
