”Good communication. Accommodation as expected, old building, original features. Hands on host, information comprehensive. Clean, comfortable with lots of little extras. Accessible wet room. Great area.”

”The room was nice enough - standard layout and decor as you’d expect for a hotel du vin. Bathroom nice. Corridors looked a little tired but not too bad. Bar and lounge area were ok but nothing special. Terrace is fantastic- or at least the situation is. Served our purpose very well as a place to stay to go to a party nearby. Reception staff very helpful. ”

”The hotel is just minutes off the M5 but an easy bus journey into the centre of Bristol. We had a lovely evening in Bristol and easily got back to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The room had everything we needed and we had a choice of double or twin. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money. Lots of parking. We arrived a little early and it was no problem for us to check in.”

”The room was mostly clean, just the edges of the carpets needed a bit extra but this seems to be quite common in hotels. We was surprised at how big it was. It's a bit dated but was perfect for one night. The bathroom was a good size. Again needs a little tidying up in places but overall was good. Shower was very powerful. Breakfast was great. All the usual choices, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc, then cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, bagels, mini doughnuts, tea, coffee, juices....

”The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. The lights are very bright. This means you cannot leave bedroom door open at night which is difficult when it’s warm. As there’s...

”Stayed here with my toddler, and while this is a solid 3-star property—no real surprises—I wanted to share a few notes specifically for parents traveling with young children. The room was very clean, and nothing major stood out as a safety concern for a curious toddler. I felt comfortable letting my daughter roam around the room and the hotel itself. ”Large and comfortable hotel with very good location near Cabot circus shopping mall and Bristol coach station. The room was not one of those renovated shown at hotel website, but with a older style interior. Anyway very good and comfortable room with iron and ironing table and large comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite decent, but did not really match the hotel´s price level.”
