”The Metropolis was located in a terrific walkable area in Budapest and was perfect for seeing all the sites- not to mention all the wonderful restaurants in the area. The hotel only has 9 rooms and each one is different. It is very quiet and the black out shades were great. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

”The place is a bit questionable. They could definitely do small upgrades that could make the room look 100 times better, like buy new pillows, but the beds are very comfortable even if they squick. Also the AC in the room made the whole experience perfect. The receptionist was so friendly and funny, such a sweetheart, very quick to help. There is a mini fridge and a tv in the room as well. For the price of the place i recommend. ”

”30 eurolle erinomainen vastine. Lähellä lentoasemaa. Halpa leipomo nurkan takana, kahvi on aivan loistava 150 HUF, myös suussa sulavat leivonnaiset. Taksin sain samassa rakennuksessa sijaitsevan kaupan työntekijän avulla. Huoneen kunto on erittäin hyvä. Ainostaan viemäristä kauhea haju eikä kylppärissä ole ovea. Olen kuitenkin nukkunut hyvin. Suosittelen. ”

”Our stay started with the receptionist saying I needed to pay again even though the booking was prepaid. Eventually after contacting hotels.com this was resolved but he walked away from me and refused to deal with the issue until the morning. Additionally, the bathroom was infested with wasps and although there were others to use and it was eventually resolved, it wasn't ideal. The room felt comfortable and spacious but the plugs were a little temperamental and there was no air conditioning....

”Sijainti oli loistava keskellä juutalaiskorttelia missä on runsaasti yöelämää ja baareja sekä kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Huoneen yleiskunto oli surrealistisen hirvittävä. Epämääräisen seinätaiteen voi vielä kuitata vitsinä mutta jättimäiset villakoirat lattialla ja sängyn alla ei naurattanut. Sähköjohdot jääkaappiin ja valaisimiin oli teipattu niin että niitä ei uskaltanut käyttää. WC ja suihkutilat olivat likaisia, lattian ritilä oli teipattu kiinni, huonolla menestyksellä. Hinta...

”Spacious and cheap accomondation. No air conditioning, quite newly renovated but still some faults. We we're promised a baby bed but it wasn't in our room upon arrival. Luckily the staff was still able to provide it even it was late evening. No proper coffee machine, quite few kitchenware, broken floor lamp, quite noisy since located close to main street. However, good connections and a shopping mall right next to the hotel. Definitely not a hotel level accommondation but cheap and neat, good...
