It took too long to check in like 35 minutes when only one family before me. The front lobby is small and hot. The ceiling is leaking water near the waiting area. The staffs are not well trained and not able to provide the right information to us when we are checking out. The customer service experience was bad too. Also, things are just quite expensive overall.

The property is very nice and clean. Beautiful private beach. The staff is very friendly as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the food. It wasn’t horrible, it wasn’t great, but it was edible if that helps. I’d stay here again but probably wouldn’t add the all inclusive package

Emporio Cancun is a wonderful hotel! Staff were very friendly! Hotel had multiple restaurants and even great room service! We had an ocean front room in building M that led out to beach and it was impeccable! I will surely stay here again!

When we got there I was a little skeptical about this place when I saw the lobby. It needs to be updated, not a lot to do there like others places, not enough sitting, kind of dark. I did not like that it had to many stairs compare to other places. We always had to go up and down to go from one place to another. But the staff super nice and helpful. The restaurants were super clean and the food was great. The beach was beautiful.

I’ve been to Cancun 6 times now and this is by far the worst resort I’ve stayed at.1: When checking in it took over an Hour . The ladies in the front were Rude to begging with, when booking it said All inclusive but BEWARE it is not all inclusive. Only 2 restaurants in the resort. The waiters in the resort are rude. When washing my hands in my hotel room notice there was water coming from under the sink. Call for room service and was told to call back once I saw the menu and knew what I wanted to order since I was kind and told her what she recommended. Food is trash. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels and they had better food. I would not be coming back and recommend for no one to do so as well.

Options for food was mediocre. There really was only one option for food. As the Italian restaurant was not good at all. The Argentian restaurant was superb. Service was subpar. Especially if you did not speak Spanish. My friends had a hard time getting a drink etc. this seemed like a local getaway.

Visited with my boyfriend for spring break. The resort wasn’t too crowded and had family and adult areas. The infinity pool for adults was a blast. Bartenders were friendly and it had easy access for the private beach. It was really fun

We got an oceanview room and it was gorgeous. We didn’t get the all inclusive but did get the breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! International breakfast but a great variety of Mexican food. We knew we were going to venture out so that’s why we didn’t get the all inclusive. There is not a lot around the hotel to eat if you don’t want to eat at their restaurants for lunch/dinner. There is an Oxxo next to it and a 7-eleven across the street. We used the red busses to get around. Just let the driver know where you are headed and they’ll let you know when it’s time to get off. Be careful with the hotels elevators! They close really fast and don’t stop.

Not enough staff in most places, expect lines (not long and they move fast, but always a line). Shower stall not very clean. Hard to get the hot water dialed in - hot is in the MIDDLE of the dial!!! Daily room cleaning was excellent (but one day was missed during our week long stay). Would go back, for sure!

Overall would not recommend based on our experience. First off, this is a Spanish hotel, very little English is spoken and all of the menus are in Spanish, just FYI. Upon arrival, we were charged additional daily fees before they would allow us to check-in. We opted for the adults only swim-up ocean front suite. Unfortunately, the kids pool is right outside these rooms and noisy and kids are allowed anywhere on the property. The swim-up side is not private and a main walkway for the entire resort, so do not expect any privacy while lounging. There was ongoing construction which was noisy and frustrating when trying to rest. The worst part of the stay was that I stepped on a very rusty screw on the property, preventing me from using the pool and ocean for the second half of the trip. The hotel would not acknowledge this and accept any responsibility for the injury. Cell service and wifi was basically non-existent in our room / area. Overall a disappointing experience that could have been remedied, but the hotel chose to ignore everything. We can not recommend this property. Expedia was not able to help with the issues either, only stating at the end that they are just the booking agent and all issues are between us and the Spanish owners, even though we paid Expedia for the trip.

We are very sorry we needed to work on that column, but it wasnt a big construction, still IĂĄm sorry if it disturbed your resting time, we are always open to your request to spot it.We know you steped in a screw, and our security staff assisted you with the firs aid, and that we also offered you the doctor service without a charge and you refused to use it, also my Front Desk Manager set a request to Expedia to re imburse you the all inclusive portion of your trip for the last two nights. We are currently working to improve the internet service in this specific area of the hotel.Joseph, we do care about your experience and your comments, that is the only way to improve our products and services.
