”I was quite worried after reading a previous review on what we were going to experience during our stay at the Carleton Circle, but we were on a strict budget so I decided to try it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was warm and welcoming and our room was clean and quiet. It was so close to shopping, restaurants, the beach, and the Cape Cod marathon start. It was really relaxing and nice, it had been renovated in the fall of 2025. Plus had 1st floor door to the pool area which was nice to get some fresh air and sun. I didn't have time to eat the breakfast this morning, I was in a rush. Sorry.”

”We came here because of location, reviews and amenities. This location is NOT accommodating at all off season. 1. Restaurant closes without warning. 2.pool closes without warning - cheap towels even for a toddler to dry. 3. Stale breakfast items with no dates, no tea bags, juice machine wasn't working, waffle maker was peeling, no lids for cups. No accessibility to hot water after hrs-machine locked in restaurant. (And they wanted to sell bottled water). 4.Their bathroom soap is horrible....

”The hotel is a very old one since 1808. The location is excellent right by the Main Street. The inside pool is very nice. The rooms are clean but you can feel they’re old. Lots of free parking space”

”Was promoted as a hotel which it is not. Check in was a nightmare arrived at night was left a map and key in an envelope to my cottage could barely read it. Roads to cottage were dark, small and not well marked, had difficulty finding the cottage. No where to eat or get a drink even coffee. People were in Clubhouse when I arrived but locked doors and would not open. This is a country club with some cottages for rent. You are on your own in the middle of nowhere. Would never go back.”

”Its a weird place, I was the only person there that I know of. Staffing was very limited. This was all fine for a single male, in discussing with my wife who did not come, she stated that she likely would not have stayed. If sparse staff was communicated in the listing, I missed it, that could be just me. Otherwise, it was all good, clean, convenient, everything functional.”

”Cute motel beautiful view. Spacious room gentleman at the front desk Really organized and helpful. Would come back again the view from the room was so nice. Had everything we needed and front desk readily accessible if needed. Parking was great. If it was warmer would have loved to use the Kayaks!!”
