”We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. The water in the shower gets scalding hot, BEWARE. There is a sign in the bathroom warning of this...

”Would definitely recommend! Set in a stunning location, the view from the room was out of this world! Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was spotless and finished to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, dinner was stunning and bar was very reasonably priced. ”When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.”

”We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. ”

”We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Oban. Glad we spent atleast 2 days here as Oban was one of our favorite spots in Scotland. Very walkable to everything we did and very close to Lorne which was my wife’s favorite restaurant in the trip (was accordion night) hit up a lot of other restaurants and the views and scenery there are the best. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was delicious. Our room had a great view of the water. ”
