”We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Dan, possibly the friendliest, more passionate human being on this planet. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we were taken care of for dinner as there isn’t much around. He sent us to the local pub with lanterns as the walk there gets dark and it added a pretty fun experience to our evening. The property is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We played games in the lounge and had the best sleep in a very cozy and...

”This location is really an excellent one and the hotel is a bit old, but fills the purpose. ”

”The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful meal - the duck was very good as was the seafood risotto. Breakfast was also great. The location was beautiful! A small lighthouse across from the property as well as a small castle further down. Had a wonderful morning walk along the water and fond by the castle! A perfect autumn walk.”

”Such a lovely property with an even lovelier couple running it. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Oban.”

”Nice pass-thru accommodation for one night with amazing views. The room was very small for 2 adults 2 small kids but we managed to fit - also the road was surprisingly close and created some noise & shaking during the night. ”

”Really enjoyed our stay. The character in the bar/restaurant of this old ferry house building was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Great location, lovely friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Swimming pool & Hot tub available👍”

”Nice hotel with a cosy room. I was suspicious about the shower at fist, but it worked perfectly. No luxury, but well worth the price we paid. I can recommend this hotel.”

”Awesome castle hotel with dinner served in the suite, but be sure to book the suite with the hot tub, the rom was just fabulous with first-class service.”

”Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...

”I loved this hotel!! Wish I had booked it for more than one night. Its everything you want from a boutique hotel. Book it!”

”Very attentive staff.”

”Our stay at the Cottage in the woods was amazing and I wish we had booked for longer. I travelled with four teens and a dog and the property was perfect. A beautifully decorated and well laid out property that had everything we needed and more. Beautiful outdoor seating and cooking options, arrived to the fire going and a welcome basket. The hosts were very welcoming and so accommodating, especially helpful after my dog rolled in a big and I needed to fully wash him down. I cannot rate this...

”Very nice house, very clean and so warm and confortable with everything you need in a house. The place is close to a very nice beach with a very nice view on the Loch. Youvreally feel at home!!”
