”Staff were all very nice, helpful, informative, personable and kind. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rugs on stairs and hallways were very dirty. They needed a good cleaning. Being able to store our luggage was a great amenity. Made it so much easier. Felt one coffee or tea for two guests was pretty cheap…should at least have one for each guest booked each day they have a reservation.”
”The best hotel on the island. If you want views, no haunted mess, cleanliness and great atmosphere and coziness, choose this one. I booked the panoramic suite. Soooo worth it, the entire walls are windows. They have an open snack bar at all times. My only complaint was Ignacio, the front desk guy, he was a little condescending.”

”The staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating with our early arrival and letting us drop off our luggage so we could explore Catalina until our room was ready in the early afternoon. Also a great location for the places in town we like to visit. One bonus is a nice third floor roof top gathering spot. A great 360° view of downtown Avalon. It’s an older property with a very interesting history. It is not the Ritz, but if you like warm, funky and clean accommodations, I highly recommend.”
