”We were in the area to watch our son graduate from Marine IOC, so we paid more and booked a room for two nights at The Publisher so we wouldn’t have to drive and deal with the downtown parking issues.
Top notch hotel!
Good staff. Clean building. Beautiful building. Solid - no creeks, bathroom spacious with good ventilation. Heated mirror in bathroom so no fog after shower (nice).
We had a balcony - they are very small and ours overlooked an old cemetery, but still cool.

”I found this very convenient for traveling from the Northeast to the southeast as breaks the trip up perfectly in half. Additionally, it is next door to a gas station with a great convenience store, so you can fuel up before leaving very easily. I will also note that while it is close to a main road and a gas station it is very quiet.”

”The only good thing in this hotel was the young and slim girl at the front desk. She was nice and helpful. When we got to the room it smelled like an ashtray (non-smoking room) and the sheets felt like they were dirty. The breakfast was a joke. ”I wouldn't recommend this place at all went to our room and as soon as you walked in a non-smoking room it smelt like cigarettes. We checked the mattresses and found horrific stains and black mold all over the mattresses the cleanliness of this place was very disgusting i will never be booking this place every again.”
