”Came here for my honeymoon and was not disappointed! Great view from our 3rd floor balcony of the entire lake and the mountains. They left us a bottle of wine and some chocolates as well as a sweet note about our honeymoon. It was within close walking range of shopping centers and restaurants, which we definitely took advantage of. Such a nice stay!”

”We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

”Over all staff was helpful, when I send them a message they reply fast . The parking is a little tight . The size of the room was good too, a full size bed with bunk beds . Pet friendly just need to pay a few before you go.”

”Great staff. They were friendly and let us know the information as soon as we arrived. Amazing location if the goal is to go to the beaches. We went for Fourth of July and it was very conveniently located so that we didn’t have to drive anywhere. The beach across the street and 15 minutes down the road by walking were nice as well!”

”We were told that we could only have housekeeping once every 3 days vs as advertised which is upon request. The Peloton in the gym wasn’t working. The front desk staff was unhelpful with the exception of one blond woman; we received misinformation regarding the beach passes. Great location if you can tolerate the “Spring Break” vibe in the local vecinity.”
