”We couldn’t check, picked up the key around 7pm then came back around midnight and we could not check in as we had the wrong key”

”The room was in a great location and accessed by keypad so no key needed. Pre-check-in was done online that everything was easy. The room as well located on the High Street and close to places we wanted to visit. The room was very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable with lovely white crisp in. Plenty of hot drinks and orange juice and porridge provided. The over bath shower was fine but could have been better in terms of power and heat. The plumbing in this room...

”Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money.”

”***1st Class Stay!!*** We stayed in a beautiful room with a sea view which was nothing but perfection. Clean, light, airy and the view onto the old pier is stunning. The staff at the hotel are engaging and professional and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is exactly how you want it. The cocktails in the hotel bar are delicious and they were happy for us to go off menu and make us our favourite drinks. The bar its self is cosy and has a relaxing atmosphere.”

”It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated.”

”The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. ”

”With parking on site and a bus stop outside, this was a great place to stay and good value for money. The building is a little tired, but the staff are helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay again as is very convenient for visiting Brighton.”
