”We were in Edinburgh for an extra few nights unexpectedly and booked “3 Johns Place” last minute. We absolutely loved it! The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless, the shower was new and modern. I would give it more stars if I could.
Easy check-in, accommodating staff, beautiful facility. 12/10.

”Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.”

The room had no television.

”Staff was very friendly. The hotel was nice and clean ad it has a cozy atmosphere. Our room was silent even if were on the same floor with the second bar and the terrace. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for six days an we got the change to go through the whole breakfast menu.The selection of beers from the tap was also excellent.”

”Excellent 3 night stay, I will definitely be back. The hotel is perfectly situated. Very close to the tram line to the airport (5min walk) and maybe a 10min to Waverly train station, but it’s also on a very quiet street and very close to the Royal Mile and all the sights. I have nothing negative to say. The room was spacious, the bed and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and the staff was always helpful and friendly. ”
”Warm and welcoming. Excellent location, great value for money. Some roofing work going on but there was zero noise or disturbance whatsoever. The beds are super comfortable, and rooms silent, so we slept well. Second time staying here, will be coming back.
Craig is lovely and helpful, and we got to leave our luggage at the hotel for the day after checkout so we could go to Portobello for we had a late flight.
Oh and I could just see Arthur's Seat from the room window :)”

"The staff was really lovely and helpful, the room was spacious amd quiet and beds were really good. The location is perfect, easy to walk anywhere and the breakfast was great! We really enjoyed our stay with my best friend. "
"Music from the pub next door in the night and emptying the carbages in the mornings made lot of noise. The bathroom was diety (black mold?) and also the carpet. It is pretty expensive place, maybe won’t book again."

"Hyvä sijainti. Lentokentältä pääsee raitiovaunulla hotellille helposti ja pysäkki ihan vastapäätä hotellia. Nähtävyydet on kävelyetäisyydellä ja ostoskeskuskin lähellä, jos shoppailu kiinnostaa. Huoneessa oli lievä kosteuden tuoksu. Siitä pieni miinus. Perinteinen englantilainen aamiainen täytti vatsan moneksi tunniksi."
