”I cannot fault the Fingal hotel in any way. Booked this as part of our mini moon after getting married in Scotland and it really lived up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and engaging, giving us tips on sights and restaurants in the area. The room itself (luxury cabin) was perfect for us, tastefully decorated and with a door going onto the deck upfront. We both slept really well and the mattress quality was excellent. The breakfast was divine, so many...
”I loved this place! Gorgeous, spacious, well-appointed room & luxurious bath. My only qualm was that there was no lift…the stairs are lovely, but difficult to navigate with luggage. ”

”Warm and welcoming. Excellent location, great value for money. Some roofing work going on but there was zero noise or disturbance whatsoever. The beds are super comfortable, and rooms silent, so we slept well. Second time staying here, will be coming back.
Craig is lovely and helpful, and we got to leave our luggage at the hotel for the day after checkout so we could go to Portobello for we had a late flight.
Oh and I could just see Arthur's Seat from the room window :)”
”Staff was very friendly. The hotel was nice and clean ad it has a cozy atmosphere. Our room was silent even if were on the same floor with the second bar and the terrace. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for six days an we got the change to go through the whole breakfast menu.The selection of beers from the tap was also excellent.”
”The location nd space was amazing…but it was the stellar staff that get the top notch accolades. They were all so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. I found everything about this stay to be wonderful and look forward to a return!”

”A bit small room for 4 people. Showed drained poorely and sink was misplaced so the water went also beside sink when washing hands. A bit far from the city center, but good public transport to there and even walkable.”

Pleasant and clean hotel. Double room was quite small but more than enough for solo traveller.
A/C unit was quite noisy at times but at least you could have the room at the temperature of your choice. ”
