”Excellent team including Mandy on reception who explained we’d booked a room in The Grange (separate building), when we asked she offered an upgrade for a small extra fee, to the main house and showed us her favourite room (gorgeous view of park & ducks behind). ”Overall this is a good value hotel. For me it worked well as I had been workign in Milton Keynes and was flying from Heathrow on business the next day. It was well priced, accessible and serivce was good. Room was comfortable - if a bit dated. Food was good, bar staff were great, tv had Champions League match I wanted to watch. ”The only downside to the hotel is the lack of parking. Whilst you can pre-book reserved parking at the railway station it's a 5 minute walk away, so not ideal with luggage, particularly if it's raining. However, that won't put me off staying again as everything else about it is wonderful! ”We stayed one night ahead of a birthday celebration in Maidenhead. All aspects of this hotel met our high expectations. Late check out and extra parking charges were waived for us. One tiny thing: could there be hooks for coats in the room?”
