”During US Open week, they charged us over $400 for a $105 room. Beds have thin blankets, one only. Shower barely worked. No maid service. It is a place to stay near the airport. The staff was very friendly.”

(And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

”Property definitely shows its age and is in need of some updates. Morning breakfast area was understaffed. After the first night housekeeping didn’t replace any wash cloths, so had to hunt some down. Good location and price, we only slept there so the value was there… comfortable bed and decent enough room”

”First off when you first walk in the lobby it’s extremely hot no real ac the vending machines are there but empty fridges are empty everything is empty also the hot water in the rooms didn’t work room was hot ac didn’t work well in the rooms even crappy hotel will not be going back also the pool outside looked extremely dirty and was brown”

”The promo on Expedia said was near the beach.....was at least 1 mile away. The "included" breakfast consisted of brown bananas, soft apples, white bread and OJ. The main door into out room wasn't sealed. Light came in the room at night, bugs crawled underneath the door, etc. EVERYTHING was dirty.....bathroom, sheets, curtains, floor, on and on....”

”We reserved (based on pictures) nice looking hotel. Reality was that this is not hotel, it’s motel. Even the reseption admitted that the hotel description is wrong, their establishment is motel. We wanted to cancel the reservation due to totally wrong information. Reseptionist claimed that we should have asked more pictures before reservation. Best Western has forgotten to add motel pictures”

”I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I reserved a non-smoking room, but when I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and other odors that made it unacceptable. The room did not appear to have been maintained as advertised. The common areas also felt uncomfortable. There were individuals loitering in the hallways and stairwells, and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The overall environment did not feel clean or family-friendly. ”Very clean. Easy to get to. Listing as described. Bed and furniture are nice and comfy. Only thing I would add is a broom and dust pain and some Clorox wipes so guest can keep it neat. 5 stars! Very nice host. ”
