Nice place for a short stay
Location of the hotel is really good for sunbathing, swimming, shopping and just relaxing. First we had a room with a borken bed, but they ghanged our room by request. Everything was a bit worn, but it didn´t bother us. AC was efficient, and we managed to sleep with earplugs. The breakfast was pretty ok, though coffee was bad.

Lähellä rantaa ja ostoskeskusta, huone pettymys
Kuvat eivät ollenkaan vastanneet totuutta. Jo ulkoapäin hotelli ei tunnistettavissa, ja huone oli aivan muta kuin kuvissa. Yksi ainoa kuva vaatimattomasta huoneesta osui kohdalleen, joten se oli pettymys. Ja mainostama parveke, näkymä oli takapihalle joka oli siivoton, rojua täynnä ja autio rauniohotelli avoimine risaisine ikkunoineen ja savupiippuraunioineen heti vastapäätä 20 m päässä pimentämässä aurinkoa.Masentava näkymä. Kattoterassia ei ollut. Aamiaisella puuttuivat kaikki vihannekset ja hedelmät ja osalla päivistä juustokin oli loppu. Eikä Fetaa! Pullovettä ei ollut huoneessa, aina piti pyytää pullo kerrallaan ja toisinaan yrittivät ottaa maksun siitä. Suihkussa verho roikkui keskellä ammetta ja hana samoin keskellä allasseinää, joten oli hiukan vaikea toimitus. Siivous kyllä pelasi moitteettomasti ja pyyhkeitä sai haluaman määrän. Siivoojat ystävällisiä ja henkilökunnan aamupaloista vastaava rouva avulias.

City Center Hotel Rodoksella -hyvä sijainti
Siisti, edullinen ja hyvä hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Lähellä rannat, mukavat ruokaravintolat ja pienen kävelymatkan päässä myös mukava kulkureitti vanhaan kaupunkiin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hyvällä perusaamiaisella päivä lähtee hyvin käyntiin. Suosittelemme!

Enjoyed our stay at City Center Hotel
Good location near the beach, close to many restaurants and shops. Quite cheap, tidy and service was good. Breakfast could have been more comprehensive, the lack of fruits and fresh products bothered us a little bit. But this doesn't change the fact it tasted good. Sheets and towels were clean, so as the room. No complaining ! Overall a good hotel for those who appreciate location and friendly service !

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Rhodes. Breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to shops, the port and the old town. Great value and would highly recommend to anyone.

Kesinlikle temiz ama eski bir otel, tadilat yapılmalı. Çok fazla Türk misafiri olmasına rağmen sabah kahvaltıda çay yok dendi. Bitmiş olabilir ama ikinci günde çay olmazsa kabul edilemez. Eksikler alınamaz mı????

I'm torn....?
I really really really want to give this review a 5 star but because of what happened at the beginning of our stay, I just can't. Essentially I showed up and they checked my girlfriend and I in. Everything seemed fine. Our room looked nice and we were excited to begin our first days in Greece after spending a few weeks in turkey. That's where the problems began for us..... We got a phone call from the reception lady asking us to come back down because she had something she needed to talk to us about. Confused, we made our way down... She explained to us our room was only booked for one person and they would have to charge us an additional 20 euros (Per night) for my girlfriend to stay with me. This is almost the same price i payed for the hotel! So, I quickly pulled out my phone and showed her the email stating I had booked the hotel for two people for 5 nights. She kept saying her system only showed one person and basically insinuated my email didn't really matter. She asked me to call Expedia which I reluctantly did.... Even Expedia talked about how it was originally booked for two and they arn't sure whats going on with the system.... The hotel didn't care and still wanted to charge me. So, this continued on for a few hours longer, and a lot of expensive calls later. Finally, we came to the agreement of 10 Euros per night. My problem with this was I checked to see the price difference on Expedia for 1 vs 2 people and it was the exact same price! So, why charge me more?!?!?

A Good Choise
Good location. Nice and central. The staff in the reception were excellent, especially Elefteria. Cleaning service good. Short walk to beach, harbour and Old Town. And only 20 minutes walk to Dodekanisos Seaways (Katamaran) in Colona harbour. Before arriving I had sent a request: A room high above with e view. And I got it! Room 406 at the corner, 4.floor. Very,very good. Thanks a lot.

Below my expectations
Unfortunately, this hotel is below my standards. One thing is sure, is that it needs restoration. The only positive thing was the staff. Everybody was very kind and helpful. I was wondering why this hotel in this excellent location is in this terrible condition and finally i found out that the owner of the hotel will change, probably within the next weeks. I hope, next Spring, the hotel will be totally different, under the new management.

Basic room in a great location.
If you don't plan to spend anytime in your room like we didn't, then this hotel is good. In a great location close to Elli Beach, nice Greek restaurants, 10min walk to the beautiful Old Town and right opposite the Rhodes casino (although we didn't even go in lol) room is extremely basic but very clean. Staff were lovely and waited to check us in at 1am as they heard our flight was delayed. Also great with recommendations. Assisted us in booking a hire car to drive around the island which was great.

Das Citiy Center Hotel hat uns, obwohl wir wegen des geringen Preises keine gesteigerten Erwartungen hatten, enttäuscht. Dies begann bereits am Anreisetag damit, dass man uns mitteilte, dass das Hotel entgegen der Beschreibung bei Expedia über keine Privatparkplätze verfüge. Dies war jedoch einer der Gründe, uns überhaupt für dieses Hotel zu entscheiden, da wir einen Mietwagen gebucht hatten und die Parkplatzsituation in Rhodos Stadt angespannt ist. Das Zimmer selbst befand sich hinter dem Lastenaufzug, der Putz bröckelte von den Wänden, im Bad roch es modrig-schimmelig, Kakerlaken bevölkerten zeitweise die Badewanne und nachts konnte man kaum geruhsam schlafen. Denn das Hotelrestaurant (Victoria) hatte regen Betrieb und die Gäste suchten die auf unserem Stockwerk, unweit unseres Zimmers gelegenen Gästetoiletten auf. Das Frühstück enttäuschte auf ganzer Linie. Angefangen beim Orangensaft, bei dem es sich um gefärbtes Wasser handelte, über nichtgekühlte Milch, Wurst und Käse sowie den schrecklichen Filterkaffee war die Auswahl überdies eintönig.

Bra hotell för priset. Bra personal.
Första gången på Rhodos. Hotellet var bra och med restaurang och flera andra restauranger i området var utbudet stort. Frukosten kunde varit bättre samt städningen av rummet, varje dag dock men inte så välgjort. Det utlovades gratis vattenflaskor på rummet men det kände hotellet inte till. Fick en var efter tillsägelse första dagen men ej därefter.

Husband and I Stayed here for one night. It Was good for the price and just for a place to sleep. We Didn't like the breakfast though, very plain and not many options. The location was good and the desk man was friendly enough. Would not recommend staying here for more than one or two nights maximum. You get what you pay for.

Trevligt familjeägt hotell nära Gamla staden, hamn
Vi hade en trevlig vecka här, rummen var bra, städarna trevliga och noga och hotellpersonalen för övrigt var i de flesta fall väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. En synnerligen hjälpsam dotter till ägaren hjälpte oss mycket aktivt att återfå en kvarglömd kamera i en taxi. Guldstjärnor till henne. Det var god mat på hotellets restaurang och frukosten var helt lagom. Bra promenadstråk runt om. Vi behövde inte alltid gå ut för att roa oss, vi kunde ibland titta på de män, de flesta i lite äldre ålder, som med stor intensitet spelade något slags spel på ett café på andra sidan gatan - ibland var det mycket höga röstlägen :) Det var nära att promenera till hamnen där det är mycket liv och rörelse, man skall inte missa att avnjuta våfflorna med Nutella på det större cafeét med det runda taket, där finns även många tavlor att beskåda. Gamla staden är i stort trevligt och sevärt, lite för mycket intensivt "störande" dock av alla de män som skall dra iväg med alla besökarna till sina restauranger, det kunde vi gärna varit utan! Tycker inte heller om papegojorna som hålls i fångenskap framför en bar/ett café, vi stödjer aldrig sådant och hoppas att turisterna skall inse betydelsen av att inte ta fotografier eller på annat sätt sponsra att djur fångas för shower.

Hyggelig personell, og kort vei til stranda. Men rommet vårt ble ikke rengjort skikkelig, hår og sand i sluk ble ikke fjernet, badekar og vask var skittent og rommet var generelt flekkete. Frokosten besto stort sett av kaker, cornflakes, loff og bacon. Eggerøren var tørr. Av skikkelig mat fikk vi noen oliven, ett fat med tomater og én fruktskål ( som ikke ble påfylt når den ble tom- og det ble den på fem minutter, med tanke på at dette var alt vi fikk av frukt). Turistbussene kjører tett inntil hotellet, noe som gjør frokostopplevelsen til en bråkete affære. Kommer ikke tilbake hit.

Good Value for your money
The hotel is well located as to closeness of airport bus stop. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. The receptionist also gave good advise on car rentals prior to our visit.

Great Location
Although a bit older, this hotel is in a great location, with very friendly and helpful staff. It is with in a short walking distance to the old town, the beach, and new town shopping areas, as well as a variety of restaurants. We stayed in March, so we were off-season. The breakfast was good, but alas, no fruit! Good value for the price of the room.

The hotel is on the older side, but the price and location made it a pleasant stop on our honeymoon. Being in Rhodes town make it a popular choice as it is centrally located. The price was attractive as well. There are several restaurants in the close vicinity.

Fabulous Hotel close to Medieval Town & the beach
Great value for money with a very warm welcome upon arrival. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Toiletries are provided as was the hairdryer in the bathroom. (coffee making facilities would have been a bonus)! The staff are very friendly and helpful and that covers all the shifts! The Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the Old Medieval Town. There is a great little pub 2 minutes down the road...Johnny's Bar...well worth a visit! As is the casino opposite! The Hotel restaurant serves excellent "value for money" food! You also receive a 10% discount. Although there is WiFi in the Hotel it doesn't work very well in all bedrooms, but great reception down in the breakfast room, lobby and terrace. There is also an internet cafe on the 1st floor. Whether you are staying a couple of nights or a couple of weeks I can highly recommend this fantastic Hotel. I am already looking to rebook with even more friends for next year!!

Veldig bra hotell, flott beliggenhet, veldig god service. Har hatt en veldig bra ferie på Rhodos som vanlig, god mat og drikke.og fantastiske mennesker der, blide og hyggelige
