”My partner and I stayed 5 nights and we found the apartment to be perfect for a trip to Hanoi. The location is perfect, easily walkable to both train street and the rest of Hanoi centre. The apartment is also sound protected by the walls of multiple governmental buildings so it is quiet at night and not affected by traffic in the mornings.
The owner is the loveliest person ever, super responsive with great English skills. He answered all of our questions almost immediately and with very helpful...

”The unit is lovely—comfortable bed, deep tub, rain shower, smart tv, kitchenette, balcony. I stayed here for a good while (2.5 weeks) and I had a cold for about a week of that so I spent a lot of time in the room. It was very pleasant.
The housekeeping is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes they’d take the bathroom garbage out but leave the kitchen garbage. Sometimes they’ll change towels regularly but other times, they would go like a week without doing that. But honestly it wasn’t a big deal....

”Disappointing, not terrible but definitely worth the high price (1,000 000 vdn/ £30).
Pros: Nice bed, pretty clean room, includes breakfast.
Cons:
-Room had no natural light at all, making it feel dingy and depressing. There was some kind of window/shutter that opened to a dark wall.
-The breakfast was in a separate hotel, or the other part of their hotel. Not ideal as I had to walk across a busy road in my flip flops to get to breakfast in their other building 50 metres away

”JM Marvel Hotel & Spa in Hanoi was the most positive hotel experience I have had in years. The hotel took care of our transportation from the airport to the hotel, and vice versa. I booked two rooms, and both are very similar. Spacious, bright and clean.
Manager Max was great help.
I was also able to book Ha Long Bay trip directly at the hotel, so they were very helpful.
Because it's on a smaller street, you will need to wheel your luggage to the hotel, not very far.
Finally.... as of Jan 2026, Google Map has not updated the street view for Eli Rina, so you won't see it...
