”The room wasn’t clean at all when I arrived - someone else’s hair was in the shower still, there was trash on the nightstand, nothing had been wiped down or dusted, it was all pretty bad. I was given 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and the towels smelled moldy. The bed was unusually small. It was relatively quiet and private though. ”

”The overall look of the hotel is a little dated but the rooms were just fine and very comfortable. The pool was great , its heated and has great natural light for anyone who wants to relax. Please note you have to pay for parking ”

”Since the space was very small I found it to be unnecessarily cluttered. No need for a washer and dryer. If anything an all in one under the counter washer and dryer combo unit. A under the counter mini fridge would be fine instead of a full sized fridge. The two chairs should be a loveseat or a pullout loveseat bed. I’m a 64 year old man who’s in very good shape. ”A charming clean and cozy home . Lovingly decorated . Well equipped kitchen for light meals . Fantastic location - walking distance to coffee shops deli and gift shops . In addition, the cottage borders a walking trail and had a view of the water . Close to Cold Spring Harbor train station . The hosts are responsive and thought. ”

”The place was simple, clean, good heating and amenities such as fridge, coffee maker (tho only one pod for 2 nite stay. Thin walls so i could hear everything in main house but that was fine. Host was prompt in answers tho i kept getting them in spanish!? Would certainly come again. ”
