”Very outdated, no tv in room, walls were dirty/stained and the paint job was terrible. The kitchen area is shared between 5 other rooms, that was very deceiving from the information and pictures. The lady that was staying in the room next to me knocked on my door one night to ask me how to work the wifi, it seemed like she was on drugs the way she was acting. Staff very friendly and helpful, they have boogie boards, towels, other beach stuff free to use. The bedding and bathroom were however...

”What a magical place! The staff was so helpful, ensuring we had everything we need due to the upcoming storm. They even texted us when the volcano was fountaining so we could rush to view it! The kids loved waking up to the sights and sounds of a rainforest. Beautiful location.”

”The property was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely book here again.”

”We were really looking forward to the hot tub and it was the main reason we booked this place. When we looked at it, it was cloudy and dirty. We later found out it was broken. We ended up not staying either of the two nights we booked here. It seems fair to get a some refund since the hot tub was broken.”

The cord on skillet was cut and hot plate was malfunctioning so we were unable to cook anything and had to waste groceries and eat out. There was a microwave but food we had needed skillet. Host sent one sentence about another hot plate that didn’t exist and then either...

”My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) The hosts are good communicators and I would highly recommend this place for a big group looking for lots of space in a remote area of Hawaii island. One thing potential guests will want to know-- although we found this place very...

”We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Oahu, it was exactly what we were looking for. We spent countless hours hanging out by the lodge pool and soaking up the old Hawai'i vibe. The convenience of farm-to-table meals prepared by the ranch team was ideal. The local venison, beef, and veggies were delicious. Our kids loved having breakfast together then heading out to...
