”I had a lovely stay at the Listers Arms. The location was ideal for walking to the cove and further on the Pennine Way. The food was excellent both at breakfast and in the evening. The room was maybe a little tired and there were some minor cleanliness issues around the shower tray. These would not prevent me from a return visit. The quality, efficiency and friendliness of the staff could not be faulted and the whole team at the inn should be congratulated. ”

”Surrounding area is beautiful. The property is very nice, the rooms are clean and the bathroom was good. The breakfast was very good too. Only thing I would say is that the bar was not serving the night we stayed (a Sunday) and that would have been good to know when we booked. Other than that, very good.”

”Great food, great staff, lovely place to be. Our room was close to either the central heating boiler or ventilation or something else for the hotel, so was a little annoying throughout the night as it never went off. Bed was lovely, big TV, nice facilities however we had no milk for the tea/coffee machine. The surrounding areas is beautiful and we had some lovely walks. Apart from the small issues we had will study again. ”

”The SPA trip was excellent, not too busy and staff were very friendly. The main hotel was nice and clean. We were slightly disappointed with the age of the room. The bathroom shower was leaking on the shower head with mould on some of the silicon sealant. The TV in the room was very small compared with other hotels in the same price category. ”
