”Beautiful room and pool. Easy walk to lake and village. Staff very friendly and willing to help but we would have appreciated some details in the room about organisational issues eg that water would not be replaced in the room but was readily available at the bar. Would definitely recommend hotel for a quiet, restful break.”

”A true oasis in the desert. Beautiful luxurious tents and idyllic quiet setting. Very friendly service. No WiFi across the site except in the relaxation room, which we actually loved to truly unwind and switch off. If you're driving yourself to the camp, I'd recommend a car that can handle driving off road.”

”The Capaldi is a beautiful bespoke hotel decorated beautifully with lush, manicured gardens. The service and staff were excellent with a special mention about hotel manager Carole who did a fabulous job of customer liaison. Food and wine selection was excellent and not too pricey either. The hotel is within easy reach of Marrakesh and a great place to retreat to for some rest and relaxation. Would recommend.”

”Good choice for an accommodation in the area. Literally next door from Ait Ben-Haddou. Room a little worn, especially the bathroom, but the hotel is in a remote location, and very reasonably priced. Great service, and the adjoining restaurant has an amazing view of the ksar.”

”So glad we discovered this place. A perfect getaway from the busy city of Marrakech. Calm, beautiful vistas, animals everywhere and nice, clean, original accommodations. ”This is a small hotel, one hour south of Marrakesh. It was a nice drive through a couple of villages and slowly climbing but you're in no way at a significant altitude. I asked for a car to take us from our hotel in Marrakesh. That was fine but in hindsight I should have arranged it myself and probably saved myself half the 70 euros I did pay. You could certainly arrange pickup from the lodge by someone from Marrakesh but we did use their (different) man, who drove us back and was friendly. I...

”I only wish we had stayed longer. The views are superb and the food was great. Mohammed who works here was very kind and helpful. The location in the middle of Tamatert village is either one of the reasons to choose this riad or a reason not to go there, it depends on your plans. It's not located in Imlil.”
