”We stayed for a week with a group of 15 (adults and kids ages 13–18) to celebrate our son’s high school graduation with family and friends. Overall, we had a great vacation, mostly because of the group we traveled with. The location is fantastic - steps from the beach with incredible sunsets. ”This property was incredible. The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive. Excursions were fun. Our only negative was the food. Breakfast was perfect every morning at the market but the remaining meals were fair at best.”

”The resort was pretty. The buffet was good. The rooms are outdated. Biggest drawback, and it's big, is that you were not to flush any toilet paper in the toilet- requested to put into a waste basket. Their outdated plumbing could not support it. Never heard that before and it's really not a good look for the 'resort'.”

”While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing.”

”The property was amazing, for the landscaping to the wildlife. What a great place. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, everyone knew your name and went out of their way to make your stay wonderful.”

”Our stay in The Coast hotel was really amazing. The staff are really nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself is amazing with a pool and beach access. The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back if we get the chance.”

”My stay here was short but sweet. The beach was less than 10 min walking and the hotel is located right in between several food spots and the grocery store. The breakfast is really good everything tasted fresh, staff was super helpful shoutout to Tatiana, Juan Carlos and Henry . Will definitely be back soon!”
