”This hotel is a unique boutique hotel with excellent service! Even it is outside from the city center, the location is good. There is a train going to city center and the station is quite near. The only small issue was that we had on our visit a spy in the closed. Something which of course should not happen in this kind of hotel, but the hotel took care of it immediately.”

”Everything was clean. Room was a little small but bathroom was a nice size. Grounds were well maintained compared to other castles we stayed at on this vacation. Service was impeccable.”

”The reception was excellent. The room was not a suite, even though it was classified as such & expensive. The grill restaurant is really excellent. The Italian restaurant was very average. The location of the hotel is superb. ”

”The hotel was very well located and staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and felt fresh, however the bathrooms did not include accessories such as shampoo, conditioner or toothbrushes. The smaller rooms had showers while the larger rooms had bathtubs as well. The breakfast was good and very accessible on the base floor, however it was a bit on the simpler side with no vegetables or fresh fruits available.”

”We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this beautiful house which is in a picturesque, peaceful setting and was perfect for our family gathering. We found the bedrooms really comfortable and we enjoyed spending time together in the main open plan space, and sitting out in the gardens too. The location was great for walking and exploring, with amenities close by it wasn’t at all far from beautiful Loch Lomond. We hope to stay again.”

”The apartment is modern and simple. The furniture and bedding was comfortable and it is a plus that the space is generous with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's not fancy but perfectly adequate for a city stay. Access to an indoor parking space was wonderful for us as street parking would be a chore. The apartment was actually a step or two above the building. Some renovations and repairs were ongoing in the public spaces such as paint. The hall carpets are just fair and there is no furniture...

”Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Excellent for 4 adults. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Full kitchen with laundry available. Walking to city centre is about 20 minutes or to west end about 40 minutes. Grocery store within 15 minute walk. Parking available which was a must for us. Out host Mike was very helpful. Secure building which was a positive. Only negative we felt that mattresses in both bedroom were worn and should be replaced. I would like to suggest a few hooks in the main bathroom to hang...
