”I was visiting family and this hotel was only 5 minutes away from the village they lived in. It was nice and quiet and i would say is more for people passing through. Not really for families with small children, however ideal for when on the road with a lot of travel to do as a pit stop Staff friendly and hotel clean.”

”Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building. Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

”Lovely house in a beautiful setting. Decor old fashioned but OK. Most staff helpful and pleasant. No hot water on first day and, despite informing a staff member, it was only lukewarm on second day. Poor breakfast on first day - some food not available (eg bacon) and only one staff member on duty while also covering reception. Driveway full of potholes.”
