”Hotel was good, comfortable and very quiet.”

”TV remote was generic so it did work properly, I was told it was due to customers sealing the original ones, not very helpful reply though. Soap etc hard to dispense, if at all. Poor quality bathroom, with parts missing from the shower and tap and broken tiles.”

”The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were quite small, but nicely decorated. The one thing that bothered us was that the first room we got, smelled so badly of mold we had to change rooms. The breakfast was in a beautiful restaurant and it was quite nice, but the chairs were so dirty I couldn't sit on the one in my table because I had a white skirt on. The hotel is beautiful, but in need of tlc.”

”AVOID if your looking for a peaceful sleep u wont be getting it dogs constantly barking all through the night hard to talk to staff when none on reception will defo not be staying again actually booked in another hotel”

”Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...

”Kept waiting outside the property ,taken up to room had to ask for the room key.Given the outside door code verbally ,why not give it on a card ?? Lousy area ,wouldnt stop there again.”

”everything worked. only downside is that Forest of Arden has kept the credit card deposit open for more than 2 weeks, which is annoying.”

”The only negative thing was the air conditioner which only expelled warm or hot air. Otherwise no complaints. We pretty much got what we expected. The walk to the Resorts World Arena was less than 10 minutes. Awesome.”

”Loved it. Big and clean rooms. Close to city centre with an easy short walk. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only dined there once but food was great. Nice atmosphere…highly rate the stay. (We’re from Australia)”

”Historic & wonderfully quirky property with beautiful old beams and lots of Shakespeare-inspired art. Great morning breakfast, comfortable rooms and charming dining area. Will be back!”
