”New and modern hotel. Good Holiday Inn service. Good breakfast. Walking distance to Surbitpn or Thames Ditton or to Kingston on Queens promenade.”

”They left us outside the property in the blistering heat for 25 minutes with young children whilst finding someone with the key. They then took us into the wrong apartment. Eventually we got to our apartment and there was small pieces of broken glass on the floor, small bits of food in the fridge and generally not very clean. There was also no bedding for the sofa bed.”

”When we booked a 5 night stay for July in March, we were made aware that the lounge was being updated. There was ongoing communication from The Lensbury up till two days before our arrival. They were looking forward to our stay, they reminded us of the restorations, etc etc. Then, one day before our arrival, we got a frantic message from Expedia saying that our booking had been cancelled by The Lensbury and we had to make alternate arrangements. ”The parking and elevator system must be improved. Nothing connects and you must go through urine soaked “tunnels” to get to your car. A very clean hotel and nice once inside. But I would not ever recommend somebody stay here if they are driving in. All elevators on the garage were broken (4-5) and the ones in the hotel did not connect and also some don’t take you to street and some do. We spent most of our “leisure time” trying to figure out where to park, how to carry luggage, and trying to...

”The room was clean and had everything needed. The hotel was very well situated and excellent value for money. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. WiFi was excellent. For the money it fantastic value.”

”I appreciated getting feedback. I had a lot of questions because we knew we would be getting in late. Based on their description, I saw nothing about a shared bathroom. I have a bad bladder, and this gave me anxiety. There was a potential for 8 people sharing yhe bathroom. This would have been problematic if they had a packed house. We had to pay $30 US dollars to drive less than 4 miles. They took a 25 pound deposit and if they don't pay me back, I will be relentless. ”

”The e-mail for check in had not been received on the Hotels.com chat by 2pm, so i messaged and it did come through asap then. On arrival it was easy to find the key box and gain entrance. The stairs in hallway were a bit rough and the carpet is a bit loose and dirty/worn in patches. The door to our room was not very secure and a firm push would open the door without need for a key. There is no deadbolt of chain/lock inside to secure yourself in. The apartment is tired and could do with a layer...

”Very clean accommodating hotel but unfortunately in the morning there was no hot water for a shower our friends in room 611 also didn’t have hot water they did call to reception who sent someone up with 2 bottles of water……random!! When we checked out we reiterated that there was no hot water in our rooms for a shower which we obviously needed after a long day out. The receptionist was apologetic but we still feel that this was not good enough a hot water shower is essential in a hotel stay.”

”We had difficulty obtaining the check in information. This was through Vrbo so you are given the code to a lock box with the keys to the building and your room. We stood in the rain for about 30 minutes trying to get the information. The room itself was good. There was a nice bed and a huge closet. We stayed one night and a reasonable price. There is a hotel with a restaurant open to the public about 2 blocks away. Great pizza and beer. ”

”The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. The stay itself was pleasantly quiet with no disturbances and the tap water tasted clean. The amenities were clean and easy to use, if this room were my own home, I would be extremwly happy and I would personally stay again.”
