Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. ”We had room 6 on ground floor which suited us it was a small double but very cosy and spotless. The tablet had all the info. Though as a digital dinosaur it took mea while to get used to it lovely toiletries and towels and brilliant fresh breakfast lived up to the reviews ”

”We LOVED our stay here! Our room was the “Grand Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Garden View” in the newer building and the attention to detail was exceptional. Loved the large comfy bed, our cozy robes, the deep bathtub and accompanying luxury toiletries and bath soaking salts. The WiFi was fast and the staff members were fantastic. It was a close walk into town and close to everything you could want to explore in the Lakes District. Very cool how the hotel provides wellies (Hunter Boots) for guests...
