”The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village.”

”Really loud hotel, the main road is loud and with the lack of insulation, you can hear every single golf cart, scooter and music coming from the restaurants. Some restaurant was playing music until 2am and even with noice cancelling headphones, sleeping was difficult.
Otherwise quite clean hotel, friendly staff who knows english.

”While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.”

”The Mint is walking distance from the ferry terminal, the many restaurants and bars of Miguel Hidalgo street as well as Playa Norte to soak up the sun and sea. It offers large, clean rooms for a very affordable price and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Only downside is that room did not have a microwave and kettle. It did have a coffee maker and refrigerator. Still recommend. Will go again!”

”Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for.
One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. ”

”We have found our home on Isla Mujeres. We have been traveling to this island for 25 years. We've stayed at many different places - but the search is over. I am afraid to say this - because there are less than 15 rooms - I want it to stay my little secret BUT I have to say what a fantastic stay we had. Right from the initial contact with Alexander Castellanos, who manages the property, everything went smooth as silk. We stayed in room 11 which was right beside the wonderful pool. We had 2 Queen...

Bathroom was covered in mold
Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper.
I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience.

”The location of this hotel was great, right by the sea, but the hotel room could have been better. We were on the ground floor, I am sure the top floors with balcony are better. A bit damp, dark in the room, cannot recommend it. Nice pool area by the sea.
Personnel was not very helpful and friendly unfortunately
A big minus was the WiFi, which only worked in the reception area (outdoors), not in the rooms!! ”
