”If you’re going to stay in Kyoto this is a good choice. Good location & accommodating staff. Close enough to Kyoto station to walk and directly next to subway line and bus. Elevator if you have heavy luggage. Easy check in with machine. Nice lobby and shower rooms. The rooms are smaller but very cute. ”

”Extravagant and pompous. Despite being relatively modern, the hotel feels dated due to perhaps some desire for old times luxyry. Huge in size and very crowded. The room was literally minutes away from the front desk. Superior twin room was spacious for local standards and impeccably clean. Breakfest buffet seems to favor quantity of varieties over quality. ”My second stay on the same hotel. In my previous review I had outlined the positive details that still apply during this stay aswell. Such as the good location, the spa-area that is available for the use of the clients. Previously I had praised the good breakfast. This time I went for the buffet during lunch time, and it was as good as the breakfast, but obviously with different kinds of food options on the offer. However there were few little things that could have needed improving this time....
