1. JYOTI RESORT JOYPUR

Bishnupur

”The property is new, so the facilities were very clean. However, the lights in the guest rooms and outside the door are very harsh and garish. Softer lighting will improve the ambience significantly. The bathroom set up can be improved, for instance the height of the towel rack must be reduced for ease of use and the water drain is very rudimentary, which can be upgraded. The food is excellent and the staff takes care to cook local cuisine, which is very commendable.”

”A film crue or what not was camped just next to our treehouse and made quite the noise. The next morning some group started to play loud music on the beach at 7am. Quite hard to sleep in those circumstances. Dinner was terrible, tried it the first night and after that went straight to the food court at Damai central. Breakfast wasn't better. Treehouse was a good sized, hasn't had maintenance in a while, but was ok. Toilet seat wasn't attached properly so the whole room smelled like pee. Airport...

”If you want something really special in the doorstep of Wilpattu National Park, this is your answer. Our deluxe tree house suite was literally in the trees ( warning about monkeys visiting your balcony). Sampath was amazing in offering, preparing and presenting wonderful meals. What a treasure he is. Shehan was so helpful, with luggage and anything else that we wanted. Nelson was always there to greet and say goodbye. If you are afraid of bugs and lizards, don't stay in the treehouse rooms. But,...

8. Nirata Treehouse Kintamani

Kintamani

”We could not stay at this property because it was dirty, neglected, and extremely unsafe. Despite the unacceptable condition, they refused to reimburse us, so we had to leave and lost all the money we paid. The entrance was dangerous—you have to cross a broken, makeshift wooden bridge over an open ditch. The stairs were partially broken, the wooden structure and railings were rotten and unstable, and elevated areas were inadequately protected. The kitchen contained dirty dishes, the pool was...
