”Kellagh Farm is a little off the beaten track as it is still a working farm, but perfectly placed for a stay whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall and in an idyllic location. There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. A really great property at a fantastic price.”

”I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

”There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . ”The pub was great, cosy and food was fantastic as well as being reasonably priced. The staff are polite and very welcoming and provided lots of help throughout our stay. Don't let the name Hilton fool you
"We stayed for one week due to a conference trip. - The biggest negative comes from the very stinking room. Even though the air conditioning was effective you can't air the room as windows don't open. All the clothes smell really bad now - The bed very noisy and uncomfortable. Anytime anyone moved in the bed it made a loud noise, woke up for that several times in the night, also had very uncomfortable pillows. - The sheets had stains - Not noise proof room as advertised in the room description! You could hear very well when doors banged and even the sound of the elevator - The housekeeper never vacuumed the room out of dust and crumbles. - Not enough storage space - It would have been great to have a fridge in the room. Sadly it didn't come to my mind to check this before making the reservation as I "trusted" the Hilton brand. - Anyone from the street could take the elevator - We were given an "accessible" room with no reason. - No space to hang the towels! - The housekeeper didn't always bring new towels when the old ones had been taken away. - The shower handle was so stiff that you needed ALL your strength to close it down - Shower curtain disgusting! - Bathroom lock didn't work - The breakfast was generally OK. However, one morning there was much less food than the other mornings (no croissants, youghurt, berries, fruits...). There was never any fresh vegetables like cucumber or salad. Wouldn't stay there again mainly because of the uncomfortable and smelly room. "
