”The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. ”

”Wonderful Escapism A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool.”

”This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! ”Apartment, as described, in a stunning location. Spotlessly clean and easy check in . Nice selection of restaurants and bars on site with friendly and professional staff. Only issue was that extensive building work was taking place outside the apartment and noise started around 7.30 in the morning. It didn't spoil our stay but may need to be considered if you like a lie in.”

”The area, the room, the owner, the atmosphere- everything was just perfect! We slept super well and enjoyed a good breakfast while chatting with other visitors and the owner. There are great restaurants nearby and if you arrive or leave by ferry, the guest house is just 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. We warmly recommend staying here! ”
