”The first to say is that Midgard Base Camp does not feel like the stereotypical hostel that one imagines. This starts with the lobby area that has a fun and cozy setup and the restaurant and bar area. Also, the room options are more than just a shared room with bunk beds and community bathrooms. ”This place seemed newly remodeled. The room was very nice the only complaint was the temperature was so hot in the room and no way to control it as there was no heater in the room or thermostat, the window did not really open more than an inch. other than that, the breakfast was really nice and convent. ”It's a different experience sleeping in a trailer. The trailer is in very good condition and equipped with a microwave oven an basic tableware, and are actually cozy. But ours must have had some sealing problem on the septic toilet that lead to some unpleasant smells going to the bed area. The lot was under renovations when we got there, but it did not impair our stay since it was really cold outside anyway.
