”Very Scottish decor’ for some reason. Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. Great service from staff they were able to give us a double room after we booked twin room available via hotels.com which was great. ”Heather the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal. The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home. Definitely would recommend a stay.”

”We had a “new” room that was beautiful with a stunning bathroom. One thing could be better…a full-length mirror for the ladies. Breakfast was top class and dinner was also superb though our server was a bit random and forgot a second glass of wine. But the manager recovered very well by delivering at no cost!
