”really enjoyed my stay at doubletree. nice calm area, top condition room, loved taking runs by the thames and eating at the cozy chelsea restaurants.
my only negs would be that the shower pressure was too low (had difficulties washing my long thick hair) and in the so-called cocktail bar the bartender didn't know how to make a negroni. :D
so yeah i'd call my stay a success, thanks to the kind staff and superb loc <3”
”I was worried about some reviews stating that one cannot open the windows in the rooms. I contacted the hotel beforehand to kindly ask for a room where it is possible to open the windows.
While there were no quarantees given, I was happy to notice that my wish was duly noted. Also there were no carpets in our room which made it even easier to breathe.

”I love the quiet location of this hotel. Not quite in central London but just close enough to be convenient. The hotel has lots of space, both in common areas and in particular, the rooms. They are quite spacious and comfortable. Elevators quick and fast. Staff was great. Our reception, Shokh, was particularly kind, efficient and helpful to both myself and family. He went out of his way to assist in all demands. Would definitely stay there again. I think that it is good value for money.”

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, super sauber und hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht. "Good value summer accommodation in Imperial College student halls. Clean white bedding and towels. Very basic room, no tv or fridge. Carpeted floor. No air conditioning in a room. The room was really hot in the heat. Maybe better in spring or autumn. Bathroom is quite small and there is no hand shower. Convenient for Hyde Park, Museums and Royal Albert Hall . Secure. Useful small shop on site."
"Tavallinen hotelli, ei mikään hieno paikka. Huone pieni, suihkukoppi vielä pienempi. Kadun äänet kuuluvat todella selkeästi huoneeseen joten nukuin kaikki yöt todella huonosti. Aulassa hieman ummehtunut haju ja hissi haisi aivan maakellarille. Aamupala todella minimaalinen, kaipasin enemmän terveellisempiä vaihtoehtoja. Tulipahan käytyä mutta en menisi uudestaan. "
