”Trust the reviews on this one. It's very walkable to the main beach and many dining and shopping options. Two nice coffee shops nearby as well. It's small -- not a lot of room for suitcases, packages, etc but it's VERY cute and cozy. Also, the rooms are on the second floor (outdoor steps) so be mindful when packing a 50-pound suitcase. ”

”Being so close to the beach and a tub for the kids, not to mention the outdoor shower and foot rinse available before stepping into the house was really advantageous. Also enjoyed the fire pit at night while the kids were asleep which was close enough to hear if they woke up/needed anything. ”

”The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the beaches and all of the dining venues. The lady at the front desk, Marie, was very helpful and positive. Hotel and rooms very clean and staff vey friendly. The Southwest architectural design of the building was very different from the normal hotel appearances- very welcoming and charming. If back in the area in the future we will gladly stay here again.”

”I already reviewed this once, but will repeat my comments. This hotel has a great location, but it is really in need of major upgrades. Security was a big concern: there were several gates from the parking lot and street that were kept unlocked at all times; anyone could get in without passing the front desk. There were card readers on the room doors but they were not operational. My mattress was old and I could feel all the metal springs. I had to cover it with extra pillows in order to sleep....

”This was our fifth stay at the Laguna cottage near Shaw’s Cove,and it has been an oasis for our family. We especially love the spacious patio that enables us to eat meals outdoors and the indoor dinning table that is perfect for family board games and puzzle building.
