5 stars for laid back vibe and great service
Absolutely delightful stay: loved the friendly atmosphere, sincere service. This hotel has all you need for the type of laid back pool/beach side holiday I was personally looking for. Also kudos for the bar and restaurant offering and spa massage. Hope to be back some time soon - as several other visitors had done! (That repeat visitor engagement already speaks volumes on the service of this place.)

Uskomatonta palvelua rentoutumisen keitaassa
Sanat eivät riitä kuvaamaan tätä hotellia. Toista kertaa tässä hotellissa. Palvelu on alusta loppuun loistavaa. Huoneet ovat todella viihtyisiä ja tunnelmallisia. Tässä hotellissa kannattaa viettää aikaa, ravintola on todella hyvä, rantapalvelut toimivat hienosti. Hotellissa todella ymmärretään pienien yksityiskohtien merkitys. Great location right on Cenang Beach. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ample beach loungers and umbrellas. Lots to do on the beach (i.e. jet ski rentals, parasailing, etc.). Convenient location for excursions and from the airport. Included breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. Chef makes most things from scratch - including the fresh fruit sorbet we ordered one night. Many restaurants and shops steps away - including laundromats if you need to do some laundry as we did. Room and bed are very comfortable - and a/c and ceiling fans work well. Great stay!

We had the most incredible week at the Casa Del Mar. The breakfast was great, the room was great, but the staff, they were amazing. We loved every second of it!!

Awesome stay
We had an awesome stay at Casa Del Mar. The service from the reception staff was amazing, especially from the staff Putra. Al slight letdown would be the staff at the bar counter who was not so keen to service you.

Very friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. Facilities were great with clean and spacious room. However, there were some small maintenance related problems we faced that could have been remedied beforehand. Examples: 1. Staircase light were out which made it difficult to climb the steps down at night, especially when it had rained earlier. We reported this to a staff that visited our room to check if things were ok. However this didn't get remedied until we left. 2. Room lighting could be better as we found it quite inadequate at night when we were packing. 3. The desk lamp fixture needed attention, where the diffuser glass needed to be secured (screwed in) or risk of falling off and breaking. 4. Bathroom door louver was pretty dusty, but only noticable when the bathroom lights were turned on. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was great. The spread was adequate, plus there were additional options in the menu. We just has to request for what we wanted and the duty staff were quick to prepare and serve them. There was a coffee machine in our room as well as an electric kettle, so we could make coffee and tea in our room, plus cookies and peanuts as snacks. The place also provided bicycles for guest use. They looked in very good condition, I'm a cycling enthusiast. I may have missed a few more. Fing out and experience the place for yourselves!

Es kann nicht sein das Leute ihre Wäsche im Pool waschen! Im Shangri la ist es verboten, das Leute mit Ganzkörperbedeckung was kein Badeanzug ist !!! In den Pool baden gehen dürfen!!! Die Hotelgruppe sollte auch einmal nachdenken, wie sie das Casa del Mar auf das alte Niveau zurück holt! Das Frühstück war vor der Pandemie ausgezeichnet. Beispiell: Brot war ca. 14 Tage alt! Es gab nie frisches! Die Schalen mit den Soßen für die Salate waren sehr selten neu hergerichtet. Man hat sich sehr bemüht, aber das reicht eben für dieses Hotel nicht. Es war einmal einzigartig, das muss man aber zur Zeit verneinen! Um den Ruf, der ja nur auf Mund zu Mund war, muss mehr geschehen. Es gibt mittlerweile andere Alternativen! Die Hotelgruppe hat ihr bestes Pferd im Stall eigentlich aufgegeben!! Jeder kann sich das anschauen wer die Hotelgruppe ist!!

Excellent personalised service for a 4 star Hotel.
From the check in to check out there was personalised service. The unit alotted to us had a front gate entry and a bell outside for visitors to inform us they are at the front gate, just like home.

Heaven on earth
A last minute decision to go to Langkawi and stay at casa del mar turned out to be the best part of our holiday. The location is perfect and beyond beautiful. The staff are wonderful with lots of little special touches starting with handwritten welcome letter. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast great. There is nothing we did not love and can’t wait till we can return again.

Truly excellent stay at Casa del Mar, Langkawi. Everything about it was perfect. The staff were wonderful, friendly and dedicated themselves to improving your stay. Food was excellent, the pool is great and it's right on a wonderful beach. The water must've been over 30C everyday. It's not a big resort, so it feels really personable. We got great recommendations for tours and car rentals. The room was big and clean with a great bathroom and enormous, comfy bed. It's on a busy part of the strip with shops and restaurants, though you wouldn't know when in the property, as it feels peaceful. This is a place we'd definitely return to. Thanks a lot for everything!

Casa Del Mar is a beautiful spot right on the beach. The staff were friendly and always on call. The beach villa was spacious and there were some lovely touches in the room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Only down side is some of the furniture is a little dated in parts but after the first day we hardly noticed it and had a fantastic stay here. We can highly recommend it!

Lovely stay ... only one complaint i ask for a half hour later check out because my flight was at 3pm.... they said they can't, i thought the hotel was fully booked... at check out i found out that they only had 10 rooms occupied... so i don't understand why they couldn't let me check out a bit later...

今回二回目の滞在であったが、前回の滞在データも残っており、チェックイン時にwelcome backと言っていただき、非常に気持ちの良い滞在でした 朝ごはんの選択肢が少ないのを改善してもらえれば、こじんまりとしたサイズのホテルなのでまたリピートしたい

Amazing!!!... Just come and stay here when in Langkawi!!... You will want to stay on the premises without going out for sightseeing... Highly recommended!

大人の滞在に適したホテル
宿泊者が日本人だと分かると、片言に日本語で話しかけてたりとフレンドリーな対応だった。空港からの距離、またホテルから周辺のレストラン等へも非常に近く、ロケーションは非常によい。こじんまりしたホテルだからこその小回りの良さがGOODだが、小さいがゆえに家族連れは少し目立ってしまうかも。 滞在中、空港でレンタカーを借りたのだが、ホテル内に駐車スペースがほとんどないため、毎日路上駐車を強いられた

Great beach front accommodation
From the moment we arrived at Casa del Mar we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. We dined at the hotel and enjoyed dinner on the beach watching the sun go down. Breakfast was delicious with homemade breads and preserves. Nothing was too much trouble.

カーテンを開けると、白い砂浜が広がるプライベートビーチ。 テラスでのんびり過ごしていると、スタッフの方が冷たいおしぼりや水を持ってきてくれたり、宿泊数が少ないだけにきめ細かいサービスをしてもらえました。 朝食もメニューから選べるタイプでとても良かったです。買い物するモールなどほとんどないのがかえってよくて、ゆっくり時間の流れを感じながら過ごすことができました。夜は砂浜沿いにバーもでて、夜空を見ながらお酒を飲み最高の時間でした。 欲を言えば奇数で宿泊できず(広々とした部屋だけどエキストラベッドが入れれず)うちは3人宿泊で、1人別のホテルを予約しました。正確にはファミリーで泊まれる部屋は用意はあるみたいですが、かなり取りにくいとおりもいます。

Everything was perfect - all little touches you could think of including freshly baked cookies in the room, ice cold water by the pool, free cocktails each day, delicious food and breakfast, the list is endless!
