”We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans”

”Had a perfect night away with my granddaughter at the Comforts of Whidbey Winery an B & B. It is a quiet, beautiful property just outside of Langley. The owner was engaging, helpful and also a wonderful chef. She prepared and served a delicious breakfast for us before sending us on our way with helpful and informative information about the communities and sites on Whidbey Island.”

”Their usage of Real estate lock boxes on every door in the property was very annoying. Each time someone would open/shut their door it caused a loud thud. The coffee machine was not cleaned out and had something growing in it. There was no air conditioning which was not well advertised IMO and the fan was loud. It said property has a Mountain View, that’s just incorrect. Nothing but trees. ”

”The location and home was great. Saw deer and herons on the property. No mosquitoey was fantastic. Only thing that was a concern was some of the carpets were stained or dirty. ”This is a really sweet cabin with a beautiful mix of antique and modern furnishings. It was clean and well-stocked. The time spent indoors was lovely. However, we had also hoped to spend time outdoors on the property and walk down to the water or to the state park, but found that the huge population of mosquitos in the yard made that unappealing. We actually ran between the car and the home to avoid being mobbed by the mosquitos. I'm not sure what, if anything, the owners could do about this....
