”I liked that it was very close to town and the train station. The water system needs some improvement.”

”I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom towels. They appeared to have been used and simply refolded, with visible hair on them. This is completely unacceptable and falls well below the basic hygiene standards expected of a hotel. I was also very unhappy about the parking charges. I stayed at the hotel for less than 12 hours but was charged £10 for 24 hours of parking. This is unreasonable, particularly as I was an overnight guest at the hotel. Guests who are paying to...

”Great value for money and one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had in ages”

”The room was beautiful and clean. Very good amenities, including an ironing board and an iron which is a rare treat! The staff were great and it was nice to have the pub downstairs. Breakfast was exceptional 👌 cooked to order.”

”Listing was very accurate great facilities. Reached out in a perfect amount of time with arriving information.”

”All was great”

”Lovely old building with smells of a proper English b&b”

”Place was good however unable to watch stuff like Netflix as you cant connect your device to the TV wirelessly but overall good”

”Helen was a marvelous host. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast options were classic and well balanced …made and presented with gourmet flair. Exceptional experience.”

”Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again.”

”The rooms weren’t clean and cleaned dust from the bathroom and the sink which had turned brown .”

”Good value for money”

”Hyvä, toimiva hotelli lähellä Lutonin lentoasemaa (ei lennetä Suomesta). Minulle hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, kun olin päämiehen koulutuksessa. Tämä yritys sijaitsee noin 500 mpäässä. Henkilökunta oli ammattitaitoista ja ystävällistä. Ruoka hyvää ja hintataso mieluinen.”

”The room was quite Ok, but no 4 star hotel”

”We have stayed at the hotel on several occasions now and find the staff so helpful & friendly .Breakfast was excellent and with some refurbishment works planned the appearance of some of the rooms should be improved,”
