”Overall, the hotel is really nice and quite charming. The only thing that I would see was the parking . We had to use the overflow parking which was in a very dark area away from the hotel so it was dark. I did not feel comfortable walking back up to the hotel late at night. also we did upgrade our room to include a bath, but there was no water for the bath, so I was really disappointed in this because it was a lovely feature in the room. When I did say to the hotel receptionist, they said OK...

”Tiny tiny room with only two hangers and nowhere to put your bag on. It was ok for one night and the bathroom was tiny but sufficient. In great location next to the train station and shops. Had to pay 5 pounds to leave my bag there before check-in. I’ve had that nowhere else, but it is mentioned in the description. ”

Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom needed some maintenance (towel rusty, extraction not good enough so bathroom damp paint peeling).
Corridor doors very noisy at night, they swing and bang 2-3 times when closing.
Staid 2 nights; no house keeping for some reason (we’d...
