”It’s a very nice apartment. Felt like I was at home by the end of it. The neighborhood is nice too. Close to parks, museums, the lake, cafes, etc. It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station that takes you to downtown Chicago. Overall a pleasant stay.”

”Great experience overall. Check-in was easy and the unit was very well kept. Very happy that we were so close to so much public transportation. It is a little noisy for those who aren’t used to hearing the L train nearby. Parking is hard to find, but there is paid parking nearby and easy to access public transit. If you plan on parking your car for the full time you’re there.”

”Spacious place and clean, I liked the old architecture feel. There are plenty of shops, market, restaurants, coffee shops. Finding parking wasn't too bad but be prepared to walk. ”

”We really enjoyed staying at this property. Well appointed, super clean and with wine and groceries and coffee shops all within walking distance. Highly recommended! ”

”The apartment was great…clean, cool, safe! Location was ideal for where I needed to be. The metro is right outside the apartment, so this may be something to consider if you are a light sleeper. ”

The location is near a police station and is in an upcoming neighborhood. Free parking was not too hard to find around the apartment building. Once we found a spot, we parked and tried to walk or uber as much as possible. ”

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
