Hostellit – Luoteis-Englanti

”I stayed two separate nights here and I realized I had just found my fave place in Manchester. I have stayed in YHA in other places, so I knew about the concept and the fact that they are good places to stay, but the big plus here in Manchester is the location. I love industrial heritage and thinking about this, the location by a canal and almost under old railway viaducts, was like coming to a heaven! And Museum of Science and Industry is basically on the other side of the street. The hostel is...

”The staff was super helpful and understanding - no matter the hour. The beds were changed and cleaned swiftly, and in time, I didn't even notice it. Rooms were clean and provided enough personal space for everyone. Breakfast was rather good and changed a little every time, which was a fun bonus. The only minuses I can write about are the level of noise that travelled through the windows/walls and the heat in the rooms. Those, however, were not entirely unexpected - the location was around...

”The quality-price ratio was very good in this hostel. It was very clean place. ”

”Sijainti hyvä, sängyt ja vessa epämukavia. Yksi yö menee, mutta kolme ei.”

”Great value for the money. Bunk Bed was too firm.”

”Did exactly what it needed to do. Free parking for the van within walking distance. Lovely food and great staff.”

”We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6 in the bunk barn. The room was full of mould. The bunk barn doenst peovide enough space for 6 people and very little space to store belongings. Mould can cause serious risk to health when inhaled and given we had people with asthma in our group its a blessing it didnt cause and harm at this time. The female bathroom was infested in flies. All over the toilet paper and trapped between the sheets of the toilet paper, nevermind the amount in the sink and the...

”Easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Like, ON THE PLANET. Clean. Like, SPOTLESS. Secure. Safe. Kind, patient and compassionate staff. PATRONS WHO ARE *NOT* RAISED BY WOLVES Will wholeheartedly recommend.”

”Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel”

”I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

”Nice room to myself. I bought breakfast and dinner also, really well cooked. Good value for money”

”Great location to stay a night in a historical building. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Little bit difficult to find, navigation systems do some weird guiding instructions.”

”Nice lounge to relax and read. Breakfast was great quality, lots of choice and good coffee! We booked a private room with ensuite which was in the barn annex. This was basic, but ok, but the heating wasn't working in that building. Soaking wet after 20mile walk. Staff eventually moved us to another private room, 4 bed, in the main building. On arrival at 5pm was told to order dinner before 6.30pm as there was a large group booked in at 7pm. So we did at 6.00pm only to be told the chef was now...
