”We chose the hotel because it is dog-friendly. We had some issues, but the staff sorted them out. Parking was paid for at the hotel, which was on the road. There was a blue badge holder’s parking space on the road, not far from the hotel, too. The room was large with a low sofa. We chose a king-size bed. It also had a bath on the lower floor, which I requested because of my health issues. It was very clean, had small amenities, and we could drink water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the...

”Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5.”

”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII! Thank you kindly, we enjoyed totally!”

”The room was clean, properly equipped and given it's above a busy pub and in a very old building, it was warm and reasonably quiet. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening. Good wine, food and setvice.”
